JoeyB Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 So there was a fight after the Sheep/Trees game today....I wonder how that started??? Started with Savage fouling Earnshaw, which then resulted in forest players going to have a go and savage who got pushed over by Mcleary and then a huge brawl started. (well a brawl not huge)
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 August 2009 Posted 30 August 2009 Hilarious, there 5 minutes and he's already roughing it up. Having watched it on tv though, he should never have got involved. Ludicrous.
davieG Posted 30 August 2009 Posted 30 August 2009 Football fans and footballers to some extent make me laugh so many are just hypocrites who can't take what they'd be more than happy to dish out. I don't think he should have waved the corner flag at the Derby fans but if it was the other way around, say Savage they'd be lapping it up and glorifying whoever did it.

Last season Savage did some sort of tribal dance after Derby beat Forest at the City ground. This was in front of the Derby fans but it annoyed the Forest players big time. Tyson picking up of the flag was in response to this, however Tyson did it directly at the Derby fans which wound them up. The Derby players seeing the fans being narked off had a go at Tyson and all hell broke loose. Its going to very interesting when we play Derby, god knows what Savage will get up to. Hopefully, nothing if still holds us in high regard. Not sure though Robbie being Robbie.
Fox92 Posted 30 August 2009 Posted 30 August 2009 Came as a suprise to me, ecspecially with him going to Derby as well. Maybe he has gone to get some football and score some goals etc etc

davieG Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 From Sky Veteran striker Paul Dickov admits he is open to extending his loan stay at Derby County from Championship rivals Leicester City. Dickov is on loan at Pride Park until January and has scored once in nine appearances since linking up with the Rams before the close of the summer transfer window. He is enjoying his time with Nigel Clough's side and is waiting to discover whether his stint with Derby will be extended in the New Year. "I'm loving it here," Dickov told the Derby Evening Telegraph. "If somebody had told me when I started out that I would still be playing first-team football at 37, I would have snapped their hand off. "I am playing and really enjoying it. I feel as fit as I have done in a long time. "It's no secret I enjoy it here. I knew a lot of the lads already and I get on well with everybody. "What happens in January is something other people are saying to me more than I am thinking about myself. "I am probably halfway through my loan. I have just got to concentrate and get a run of games under my belt. I have started the last three and I need to get more games before I even start thinking about January. "As long as I am playing and involved, everybody knows I will be giving my all."
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Good luck to Paul. I hope he does well.
Fox92 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Good luck to Paul. I hope he does well. So do I, great player, love the man! Rather him be playing than just sitting on our bench/not getting on the bench.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 If he goes, i'll be happy. Seems good were offloading all the surplus to requirement strikers, like Dickov, and maybe Steve howard. ] Give kermorgant some time to impress and sign him!
Joe. Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Good hopefully, Cloughy will want him permanently in January. We should get rid as soon as possible.
Corky Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Good hopefully, Cloughy will want him permanently in January. We should get rid as soon as possible. Definitely. We've not suffered without him, so it's best he moves on.

crazylegs1984 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 You know something I dont? there is talks of him going hartlepool in january
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 It might be best if he does go, but I always thought he could do a job especially last year. He was just unlucky this 2nd time around with us. He gets badly injured and has Fryatt who was scoring for fun and Howard the main target man and player of the season ahead of him. Still has that bit of class and hope he does well there. But I will always remember him from his first spell, that was the real Dickov that we all saw and loved.
Matt Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Is he out of contract in the summer? Hope he stays at the sheep in January, Potentially we have seen the last of him in a City shirt
Edmund Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8416035.stm? Derby County striker Paul Dickov said he would like to see his loan spell extended until the end of the season.Dickov, 37, moved to Pride Park in August from Leicester and was expected to be used mainly as a substitute. But his form and a succession of injuries up front have seen Dickov play a crucial role for the Rams. Dickov told BBC Radio Derby: "It's no secret that I've loved it since I've been here, so hopefully we can sit down and get something sorted out." He added: "We're on a mini-run with four games unbeaten. The previous games we had lost I felt we could have got something from them. "But we're playing well with two homes games coming up and our home form has been very good, so we're looking forward to it," Glasgow-born Dickov said.
Matt Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 YES! YES! YES! And I reiterate my question; Is he out of contract in the summer? Hope he stays at the sheep in January, Potentially we have seen the last of him in a City shirt
Edmund Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 And I reiterate my question; I'm 99% sure he is unless he was given a contract extension I'm not aware of.
Matt Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 I'm 99% sure he is unless he was given a contract extension I'm not aware of. YES! YES! YES! Christmas has come early!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 Hope he stays at Derby. He's useless when he plays for us. Not missed.
Corky Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8416035.stm? I'm sure something will be sorted Paul. We're not that keen on you returning either.
