Bert Posted 27 August 2009 Author Posted 27 August 2009 It really makes no sense. So so odd. Sssssh It makes perfect sense!
topharry123 Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 great move for us. Firstly, we'll be offloading his wages, which i can imagine he's probably one of our better paid players. Secondly, that's one striker out the door, which means less chance that Pearson will let Fryatt go! Personally, i like dickov. I know a lot of people don't, but i like the fact that he came back to us, and always shows great determination when he comes on. He's not the player he was, and yes he does committ a lot of fouls. But fair play to him for always playing like he cares. I would say good luck at Derby, but I don't think I would ever wish a Derby player good luck!
AjcW Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 I just said to my Derby mate that if he scores before our game against the sheep on 17th october then im buying the drinks before that game. I think my moneys safe . Oh and to the post above, we will be paying for dickovs wages I would of thought.
David Guiza Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 It's a shame he will not be able to play against us, him against Hobbs and Brown and Savage against Wellens and Oakley.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 I just said to my Derby mate that if he scores before our game against the sheep on 17th october then im buying the drinks before that game.I think my moneys safe . Oh and to the post above, we will be paying for dickovs wages I would of thought. We'll be paying at least a portion of it else there's no point him going. We've no real need to give him experience of match fitness.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Quote from 606. I think this is a great deal.I believe this shows the club are looking forward. I believe this demonstrates that the right blend of youth and experience is being achieved. ... For Leicester City. grr () Hahaha
Daggers Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Just saw this on Tom's Faceybook and felt compelled to say HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
haraven Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 /me checks today's date: April 1st? Comment: "Ok?"
Koke Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 This news made my afternoon. What a brilliant move for Derby.
MC Prussian Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 OMG. Brilliant news. Excellent. Outstanding. Is this a lucky day or something?? YEAAHHHH!!! FRIGGIN' YEAH!! All the best at Derby, Paul. (Just don't score against us and get yerself a permanent deal) You just never really got back to your previous form when you were with us. Well, I know. You're getting old, but still... GET IN!!!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Good news, he's past it now. Maybe a good character to have around, but past it.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 I haven't laughed as much since I watched a little old lady go arse over tit on Skeggy Pier.
foxoffderby Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 im shocked too ok for those guys who think its an odd deal if its true (its not on their official site yet), they've got major injury problems up top. Luke Varney gone on loan because hes not rated at all. Chris P orter has out long term and has had an operation. Rob Hulse is just coming back from injury and I don't think is match fit. This leaves Steve Davis as the only recognised striker at the club with Criss Commons playing as an emergency front man. But yes im well pleased too, what makes me happy is that for a change they are taking our squad players instead of the other way round. I'll be able to give out some stick now for a change.
The Doctor Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Awesome news. Also suggests that Howard & Waghorn aren't out for too long. out for about a month so will miss Newcastle, Blackpool, peterborough and probs watford
foxoffderby Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 oh I forgot they are playing forest saturday...one game they dare not lose. he he
foxoffderby Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Skysports.com understands Middlesbrough are ready to make a move for Derby striker Rob Hulse before the close of the transfer window. Middlesbrough have held a long-term interest in Hulse and now armed with money from the sales of Tuncay Sanli and Robert Huth are ready to firm up their interest with a bid. Boro boss Gareth Southgate is thought to be an admirer of Hulse and is keen to lure him to the Riverside Stadium. Middlesbrough are short of options in attack and Hulse would help to bolster their attacking options with a target man thought to be top of their wanted list. Derby are keen to keep hold of former Leeds and Sheffield United hit-man Hulse, but could find it hard to resist a big-money offer from Boro for the 29-year-old.
Ozwin Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 This is ****ing hilarious. It's like there's a Leicester fan at Derby who's conviced Clough to take him on. Great stuff.
Matt Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 *Ahem - Clears Throat* YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Fook Off. Where's me Car Key's i'll drive him there.
Benji Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 If they lose Hulse they are seriously in trouble. Dickov would be about their only true striker.
Uncle Monty Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Jesus he's not that bad, I don't understand why there's so much hatred for him here. He is past his best granted but it's not like he is playing week in week out. I'm not particularly bothered, if he goes so be it. He is no more than a fringe player so where has all the dislike come from?
