Father Ted Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 If Romania draw or beat France and then Serbia beat France we would have qualified with two games to go
StanSP Posted 4 September 2009 Author Posted 4 September 2009 If Romania draw or beat France and then Serbia beat France we would have qualified with two games to go I think France will beat Romania at home. But then you might beat France. How does that leave Serbia?
Bert Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Going on Wednesday. Hopefully, I don't feel as shit as i do now.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 I'm lookiong forward to the Croat game. Not bothered about the friendly in the slightest. Cant wait to get a good result vs Croatia then laugh at the Scots for fooking it up once again. Come on England.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Scotland team to play Macedonia: Gordon, Hutton, Davidson, Weir, McManus, Alexander, Brown, D. Fletcher, McFadden, Miller, S Fletcher. He hasn't played a minute of club football this season after recovering from injury, and Caldwell belieevs 'adrenaline' will get him through the whole match.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Netherlands, in their warm up for the encounter against Scotland on Wednesday, just taken the lead against Japan through Van Persie.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Netherlands 2-0 Japan. Inter Milan's new boy Wesley Sneijder doubling their lead.
AjcW Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 That bloke doing the scotland anthem is great. Our national anthem is so unbelievably shit.
AjcW Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 its all kicking off. Love scott brown, really skilful gritty player. Most interesting thing about that half was stopage time
Joe. Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Come on Egypt. It's fucking Rwanda. (EDIT: Good lads). In other non-international related news, Simeon Jackson is a machine.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Good goal. Apparently Heskey and SWP gonna start for England today.
AjcW Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Come on Egypt. It's fucking Rwanda. (EDIT: Good lads). In other non-international related news, Simeon Jackson is a machine. I hope we werent actually in for him and it was just speculation because if we chose gallagher and kermo instead, that would be a mistake.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 As Ukraine are winning against Andorra today, England can't qualify for the WC on Wednesday.
Joe. Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 As Ukraine are winning against Andorra today, England can't qualify for the WC on Wednesday. Well, we can. Beating Croatia would put us a minimum of 7 points ahead with two games to go (assuming Ukraine won their 8th match) surely?
AjcW Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Different game this in the second half, very entertaining, very good football from scotland... Im sure they will fuck it up by full time though as usual.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Yep sorry phrased it wrong. As Ukraine are winning today, it means that if England want to qualify for the SA 2010 on Wednesday, they would have to beat Croatia. Think that's right. If England beat Croatia on Wednesday night, and Ukraine stay as they are, then England would have 24, Croatia 14, and Ukraine 14. So yeah .
