 How can I intentionally be an angle between 90 and 180 degrees??

I think you'll find that you should bother reading my posts fully before repeating and repeating the same old stuff.

I think you might also need stronger glasses.

lol

Am I the only one who cant wait for the internationals on wednesday so we can talk about football again :P

Ok boyo.

Er, stop being a tool.

I'm making a simple point about Montenegro's miniscule population and the fact we can't expect them to produce bzillions of top-rate footballers and you're blindly going on about some sort of Slavic sporting superiority.

I read every word you wrote. Don't project your stupidity onto me just because you overlooked my original meaning, "boyo."

And please... please tell me you were trying to be ironic with the 90-180 degree angle quip? Please.

You make me laugh like a chainsaw :crylaugh:

Even though you may not think so, but please read my post AGAIN about how the Slavs train their sportstars and where the British are sort of failing.

How come then the Welsh, for such a miniscule population provide so many singers??

Seriously though, are you intentionally being obtuse?

So, if Luxembourg had a culture of sporting interest they'd be a great potential footballing force?

You are evading the point again.

The example I made was for such a miniscule population, why do Wales make such an abundance of great singers? TRUE

Your quote above has no connection and is totally irrelevant and pointless.

Considering I put it in your language boyo you would understand it.

You really are clutching at straws.

I'm not clutching at straws nor am I being irrelevant (nor does Wales really produce 'an abundance of great singers', the whole Land of Song stuff is a bit of a misnomer in contemporary culture, to be honest.)

Less people in your country = less chance of producing a world beating football team.

Yes, of course, have a culture of sport in your country as well as a properly established infastructure of football organization and training and you're always going to be better off. But the likes of Jovetic aren't just every day Joes that were the product of Slavic society; they're rare and gifted individuals with a natural talent.

It's true that Messi, Tevez, Aguero and co' are the product of Argentina's passionate adoration for football and the latin American way of life but it also helps that they were drawn from a country with a gargantuan populace.

I really don't understand why you think what I'm saying is immensely difficult to get your head around? If Montenegro battle into the top twenty of the world rankings and start pitting it out with the likes of Germany, Italy, England and co' in the same way Serbia and Croatia have then - fair play - I'll take it all back and apologize to everyone. But it just isn't going to happen.

So now your saying that Wales doesn't have a great abundance of singers. Okay, boyo we will remember that one.

There is clearly something there that suggests that Serbs or even Croats for that matter are naturally gifted and it is more likely to get natural great sporting players there.

Considering Serbia is a third of the size of the UK, we have still developed the likes of Vidic, Stankovic, Kezman, Milosevic aswell as Dragan Stojkovic, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Dejan Savicevic. We have great youngsters coming through in Tosic, Ljajic, Rajkovic, Matic, Obradovic, Aleksic, Subotic, Kuzmanovic, the list is endless.

Look at tennis for example, considering Serbia is a third of the size of the UK, we have produced Djokovic, Troicki, Tipsarevic aswell as doubles specialist Zimonjic. Also Jankovic and Ivanovic. All that you can come up with is Mr A. Murray. Hmmm... how does that "Less people in your country = less chance" thing work now because if I'm right it really should be in the ratio of 3:1 for UK but instead it's 6:1 to Serbia (you could even count Nestor who was born in Serbia and changed his name). Hmm... That means that you are very wrong.

But generally speaking it is true, surely even you of all people can understand that (although obviously not it now seems). Smaller population, smaller chance of creating a world class sportsman. It's not rocket science.

FEWER not less.

Argentina's population is around 35,000,000 - hardly gargantuan.

Whether Montenegro has the critical mass to break into the World's top twenty remains to be seen (ranking depends as much on politics and sheer good fortune as it does on results).

The general thrust of Father Ted's argument is correct. Footballers are hothoused in much of the Balkans. As physical specimens perhaps just behind the Nordic type but ahead of Latin and other Slavic physiques.

And before you accuse me of swastika waving the Nordic type PHYSICALLY is some way behind the West African.

But that is merely a minor factor.

Look at India, Pakistan and Afghanistan then.

So apparently England are playing on Wednesday.

As are "small country = less chance" Serbia against "big country = greater chance" France.

I wonder if Finnegan has put all of his pocket money on France to win.

Roger Federer? Switzerland has a population of merely 7.7 million.

Then again, it depends on what type of sports you're talking about and how much competition a single athlete is facing within his department.

Who cares.

I think you forgot a question mark there.

I would say the combined total population of France and Serbia aswell as French and Serb people across the globe.

So to answer your question, about 80 million people

Jesus christ.

I think you've turned into Ultra.

You mean I wasn't Ultra before??
