Anybody watch this last night? It was Johannesburg this time. Mental lol

Yeh that one fella who was threatening to "put your last born in the oven" was an absolute savage.

Just goes to show you can take the man out of the jungle but you can't take the jungle out of the man!

That guy was ridiculous. Killed a copper purely for his gun!

No not at all.

Corruption is rife with both the rich and poor feeling that you can only fight fire with fire.

It was much better than the Philly episode. Simply because it was unknown terrority really and being in the 'secret police' got him to the heart of the crime more than waltzing around with uniforms did.

Who else watched this?

Rarely does TV make me uncomfortable, but this was just horrible at times.

Fascinating but deeply uncomfortable viewing at times. I'd defy anyone not to feel a flicker of anger when some of the inmates were recounting the details of their crimes. Such an emotive and complicated issue with absolutely no easy answers.

is this a repeat of when he went around the american prison?

because letting us know what this thread is about might be helpful..... lol

It was a doc about a institution/hospital for paedophiles in California, where they are rehabilitated to re-enter society after serving their prison sentence. Few actually end up coming out though.

I watched it. Am I the only person who thought the hospital name sounded like "cunnilingus " :giggle:

Anyone spot the semi naked women sprawled over the bonnets of cars on some of the posters on the walls?

No. If they are never getting out who cares what they put on the walls. I am inclined to the view that attraction to children is a inclination just like being attracted to women or men. So if they are not able to control it then keep em locked up. $200k a year? Worth every penny.

I think the prison got $200k a year to have them there, they don't have to pay $200k a year to keep them there.

So paid massively to lock them up, it's win win.

That pretty much sums my views up on the subject.

I think your right. I dont understand why they would let anybody back into the community that has committed any sort of sexual crime on a minor. I would love to see the figures of how many peadeophiles re-offend after being released from prison.

Yep, my thoughts as well. Im sure 99.9% of the people there wouldn't be able to change no matter how much programming/counciling they undertook.
