davieG Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 If he has the same impact as Mancini = nil and buggered off after about 0 games because we were shit then it will have been worth it.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 20 October 2009 Author Posted 20 October 2009 Let me explain how lazy journalists work.Davids talks to Portsmouth + Mandaric was once chairman at Portsmouth = Mandaric MUST be trying to get him to join Leicester! While this may be a horrific piece of lazy journalism, and completely a load of bollocks and bullcrap, the article states he was talking to US first, before Portsmouth got in on the act, so Nice to see people dreaming though, and it wouldn't be universally loathed all around.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 why dont you video something we havent all seen already? EDIT just spotted the Derby shirt bit, I let you off No wonder people are confused about me!
BoneDog Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I've read that and what did hundredpercent actually say other than we've dodged that bullet He didn't say we were signing him or anything. He put in a later post that all parties are agreed or something like that. I took it to mean that chairman and manager were both interested
Panz Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 It's got to be nothing more than lazy journalism but I wouldn't mind if it happened on a short term thing to see if he still has it. MM was talking about how to raise the profile of the club...
leicesterfox86 Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Why is this being given so much discussion? Never going to happen!!
FilboFox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Why would we need him? What purpose would he serve... no... can't see Nige going for him and he won't be too happy about Mandaric going behind his back over this one if he is.
hackneyfox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I've read that and what did hundredpercent actually say other than we've dodged that bullet He didn't say we were signing him or anything. Read it properly, he never said anything about dodging that bullet, and I can't help it if you are incapable of reading between the lines. He actually states 'put it this way, they're all singing from the same hymn sheet on this one' which should be read as Milan & NFP are in agreement.
Budweiser Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I don't care. Really, he could sit on the half way line and pick his nose for 90 minutes. I would still love to see such a legend in a leicester shirt. Come on admit - you all feel the same. So true. 20,000 a week though Load of crap. If he came on a wage of about 3/4,000 as a rolling contract I would be pleased, just because of this really ! Sign him up
hackneyfox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I'll try AGAIN for all of those who think they know how Nigel's mind works. Hundredpercent on Bentleys is the equivalent of Knowitall. 100% basically says that it is true and that Milan AND Nigel are in agreement. Read this link first before LAZILY deciding that Yit is either lazy journalism or that Milan only is behind it. It may well not happen but from what 100% says the club have been chasing him and all at the club are in agreement about signing him. Too many people on this board have pre conceived ideas and don't read what is put in front of them. Sorry, rant over

FilboFox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Well I might have been wrong about Nige not being in on this... but it still doesn't sound any more inviting to me.
Samilktray Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Edgar Davids could make Leicester interesting again.
maddog Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Read it properly, he never said anything about dodging that bullet, and I can't help it if you are incapable of reading between the lines. It's tough to read posts on Bentleys because of the shit way it is set out compared to the ultimate LCFC Forum, this one.
Stratford Fox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 It's the Johan Cruyff rumour all over again (remember that?)!
dandannieldanok Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I don't care. Really, he could sit on the half way line and pick his nose for 90 minutes. I would still love to see such a legend in a leicester shirt. Come on admit - you all feel the same. No, I wouldn't want to see him anywhere near this club. This is the problem when you've got an idiot running the club, stupid stunts like this that waste time and money, and destroy all trust in the chairman-manager relationship.
kam6 Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 i dont think that it would happen, but i think this guy is awsome!!! he will bring such great comedy value to the club!!
StanSP Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Apparently he's on his way to Pompey tonight or tomorrow morning, and then up to Leicester after he's spoken to Pompey.

Shrenchel Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Would be good business on Milan's part. Plenty of floating fans buying tickets just to ogle at him. Kids and ****** decked out in the shirts. If we could get him on 20 grand I'm sure the extra income would more than cover his wage bill for the 3 weeks before he ****s off.
Salieri Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I would love it, LOVE IT, if Davids signed for Leicester City. But it ain't gonna happen, is it.
