Ford Super Sunday Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Strong rumours on Sky Sports News suggest that Strachan is a shoe-in for the job, David Craig, their in-the-know man in the North East said he got a text from a source last night stating that Strachan would be on his way. However, I am very worried and until Strachan signs on the dotted line, i'll be in a permernant state of brown underpants
marbelladave Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Pearson out! Davids in! As player manager..... I think I need the lavatory.........

A quick word indeed.........
Babylon Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Pearson out!Davids in! As player manager..... I think I need the lavatory......... I just want Thracian as manager... that way he might realise it's not quite as easy as his style of armchair management.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Not too worried, I think some one is already lined up. Warnock could even nick the job As he desires so much before he retires to be in the prem.
shen Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 I just want Thracian as manager... that way he might realise it's not quite as easy as his style of armchair management. Most of us are 'armchair' managers, so why pick on Thracian?
Budweiser Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 According to Skybet, Pearson is third favourite to take over, coming in at 10/1. Strachan and Curbs are favourites. SSN right now, Millan is talking. Just to make it clear he is talking about Davids They just asked Millan about Pearson leaving, he told people they shouldn't waste their money!

Ozwin Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 ^ Bang on. The day just gets better and better. Just been offered a new job myself earlier. Keep it coming.

Ozwin Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 I sent them my massive list of FM achievements, they simply couldn't say no.
lavrentis Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Pearson wont go when we have Edgar Davids to captain us to Championship glory.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 After listening to the 1pm Radio Leicester news I'm genuinely worried now! Mandaric said he'd do everything he could to keep Pearson at the club. Can't help feeling that if Davids is a 'Mandaric special' Pearson may well be tempted to jump ship should the opportunity arise.
Corky Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 I just want Thracian as manager... that way he might realise it's not quite as easy as his style of armchair management. Seems like Strachan is the favourite, Pearson is joint second with Curbishley.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Pearson isn't better than Southgate, would be a strange move if it happened.
Maybes Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Lazy media talk. I could have come up with Pearson going to Boro. He would have to start a fresh there (al-beit being an ex player). He is loved at Leicester.
filbertuk Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Living on Teesside Southgate's sacking no surprise given the total lack of support from the fans (3 straight home defeats prior to last night and no home goals since Sep). The phone ins were just total anti Southgate. Gate down to 17500 last night - Gibson probably had to act due to that situation. I reckon it will be Curbishley as a shoe in - don't think he would have been sacked after a win unless irons already in the fire - which rules NP out (you would think though NP very well respected on Teesside)
Fox You Forest Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 I'm more worried about what to have for dinner tonight.
MPH Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 I just want Thracian as manager... that way he might realise it's not quite as easy as his style of armchair management.
Wycombe Fox Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ugh/8318553.stm Meanwhile, Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric does not expect his manager Pearson to move to the Riverside. He told BBC Radio Leicester: "There is constant dialogue with Nigel. Nigel is here to stay. He is happy with the club and the club are happy with him and there is no reason why we shouldn't keep him long term. "Nigel is very solid. He is honest. I don't believe he will move. He is a very stable guy and I wouldn't be worried about Middlesbrough at all. "It would always be nice to hear from Steve [Gibson]; we are good friends. But I don't think I would welcome that conversation about Nigel. "But in all fairness if people were not interested in Nigel I would be worried as well. I don't believe Nigel would want to go. I find it difficult to believe that Nigel would want to leave this club. "He's a young man, a good man and I will do all I can to give support to Nigel to stay here."
