easilee Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Please forgive me, a humble newbie starting a thread, but robbie savage is a c..t. Quote- "Their top 3 spot (leicester), for me, they shouldn't be there." And then there was some rambling on about any team can beat any team. Yeah well any team seems to be beating you quite regularly robbie.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Doesn't matter. Claridge has owned Savage tonight.
lavrentis Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Manish has been best on the night I reckon, Savage didn't look too happy when Manish questioned his defending ability.
Ozwin Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 I hate how they barely ever mention Leicester on it. It's like they think everyone knows they're Leicester fans so they try to keep as quiet as possible about us.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Doesn't matter.Claridge has owned Savage tonight. Pull your pants up Robbie.

To be fair, if they were all fans of a different club we'd probably get pretty sick if they incessantly rimmed that club on the show.

I was wondering what got up savages nose, too...he was adored here and something city have done has really got up his nose, but it was absloutley hillarious to see him cack himself as he was named and shamed for being a c**p defender. he's also a c**p pundit, too..his total reluctance to recognise city's dues for being so silently efficient in this division is proof that he can't be impartial....and the better we get the more it really p****s him off. expect him to own a corner shop or a lap dancing club in the future when his career is over as clearly he's neither a capable footballer nor a capable TV pundit. that said, Tony Cottee on Talksport thinks city are punching above their weight ( true) and unlikley to keep up the momentum...well lets see how it goes, because I don't think a 10 ten finish is a realistic ambition for this team...we have nothing to lose and should really make a go for automatic promotion. and the moron on radio leicester today who said that one season division 3 might have done us good is mentally retarded...division three is the worst thing EVER to have happened to this club...the damage caused by holloway is immeasurable and of peter taylor like proportions. those 2 w*****s did their utmost to destroy our club , yet here we are..knocking ont he door again. Blooo armeee!!! love the leicester mafia on bbc football ( Manish is a good old leicester local, too)
Ozwin Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 To be fair, if they were all fans of a different club we'd probably get pretty sick if they incessantly rimmed that club on the show. True, but they don't mention us at all. 'Yeah, Leicester are climbing the table' -Move on- I want to see them rimming Nigel Pearson and send that bald fella to the Walkers for the day.
Tommeh Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 To be fair we got a complete rimming last season on ITV's highlights not surprised people arn't getting carried away with our form yet. As i said initially in the Post match thread, Savage has said some truely tw.attish things tonight. Best being the Sheep deserved to win at our gaff, priceless.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 I was wondering what got up savages nose, too... I heard he had a thing for the old Columbian Marching Powder
Ozwin Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Also, going down to League 1 will be the making of this club imo. We got rid of so much shit and we brought in quality who can clearly cut it at this level.
Matt Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 True, but they don't mention us at all.'Yeah, Leicester are climbing the table' -Move on- I want to see them rimming Nigel Pearson and send that bald fella to the Walkers for the day. TBF first few weeks of the season they were loving us, Couldn't turn on the programme without our game being the feature match or them talking about us. As for the bald bloke, please not, he's really annoying.

League 1 served no use at all apart from us lot getting to see us win a few games against literally non-league teams playing on park-life type pitches. thta league 1 is a seriously BAD place to be for a team like ours.
Daggers Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Quote- "Their top 3 spot (leicester), for me, they shouldn't be there." He has a valid point.
Unabomber Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 He has a valid point. He really doesn't. We are there because of the amount of points we have won compared to those who have collected as many. The table doesn't lie and we are there on merit.
MC Prussian Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 And here's me wondering how Robbie Savage actually managed to pull off a footballing career for so long. He serves no other purpose on the field than to unwind the opposition with silly antics, childish behaviour and bad tackles. The irony is, Savage can dish out as much as he wants to, but he just can't take it the same way. Clown. And a bad one, as well.

Koke Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 I really don't mind going unnoticed all season. Suits me quite perfectly .
willchafer Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Claridge said tonight that Savage's long career was because of his good vision to see things. how come he didn't see he was an absolute w*nker then?
lavrentis Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 how come he didn't see he was an absolute w*nker then? Because he was sitting right next to him. I doubt he would have wanted things to get confrontational, Manish would have had to stepped in to separate the argument.
easilee Posted 22 November 2009 Author Posted 22 November 2009 That's your view. So whats your view. did we buy our position, or have we got there by playing, let's face it, just above average football with grit and determination to get the equalizer or winner? we've only had a couple of outstanding performances this season but we are still third in the table. We are deservedly where we are, simple as that.
C-man Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 are you on the same columbian marching powder as savage???!!! going down to league 1 was the end of days...the worst thing that has ever happened to our team and even if we had managed to stay up, mandarich would have definatly fired that chimpanzee holloway and it wouldn't take a rocket science of a manager to clear out all the shit...heck even Barry Fry could have done that. What on earth? If we had stayed up, we (almost certainly) would have got another joke manager (Pearson may have been relegated with Soton and MM would have steered clear...) complete with more joke journeymen who would have done nothing for the club other than rinse us for everything we had and then left us further in the mire going absolutely nowhere. Last season's promotion and the team and management we have built has set us on an upwardly mobile curve with confidence to take us to the next level. There is absolutely no chance we'd be sitting 3rd in the CCC if it wasn't for our ONE season in League One. If nothing else, you should have enjoyed some of the great days of last season - Scunny (both H and A), Orient (A), Hereford (A), Huddersfield (A) and Leeds (H) were absolutely unreal. If you can't enjoy those then unlucky for you.

Well, they're obviously not literally non-league if they're playing in League One are they?
