Edmund Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Noisia - Split The Atom LP has just recently come out. Contains some serious beasslines.
Jonezy Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 This one, created by Danger Mouse and James Mercer (from the Shins) does sound very good - judging from the few singles I've heard so far: I enjoy this album. Mercer vocals and Danger Mouse's sound is a great blend.
hairy Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 New LCD Soundsystem album is excellent and very much looking forward to the new National album next month
MikeyT Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I know this album was released at the end of last year but only just heard it now, but Them Crooked Vultures album is really good. Would recommend it. Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) are the line up (for those that didn't know)
Samilktray Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Eminems scrapped the name Relapse 2. Now called 'The Recovery' out June 22nd
Jay Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 after seeing Villagers on Jools Holland I'm intrigued to hear more such a powerful sound for one man and a guitar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3sBblnrGik
Joe. Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 I saw that too Jay when I was channel hopping and was also really impressed. Downloaded a couple of tracks and it's pretty promising so far.
Joe. Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 'Kinell, the last couple of days have been mad for album leaks, I can't keep up! New ones from Foals, Crystal Castles, Gaslight Anthem, The National, 65daysofstatic and LCD Soundsystem all within about 48 hours. Not complaining though, got some good listening over the next week to get on with.

The Doctor Posted 23 April 2010 Posted 23 April 2010 hmm. Just flicked through my e-mails and found one from "the hoosiers" saying they had a new album out in october. Nothing else, just that they're releasing another album. How'd their marketing team get my email address? <_<
Joe. Posted 23 April 2010 Posted 23 April 2010 The National - High Violet Very nice album this, posted it on here because I think a fair few off here might like it.
Jonezy Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 The new Crystal Castles album is as good as the last Yes, yes, yes it is! Not normally my kind of thing, but that Ethan guy really has a knack of creating some remarkable catchy melodies underneath the inferno Crystal Castles hit you with, and the new album contains less of the more chaotic tunes. They also provided the best gig, that I went to last year - it was like a mesmerizing dance party in hell!!!
The Doctor Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 pendulum's new album Immersion out 24th May includes Immunize featuring Liam Howlett (The Prodigy) Self Versus Self featuring In Flames & The Fountain featuring Steve Wilson
MC Prussian Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 They may remain broken forever, but are pushing themselves into new rock dimensions:
Part Of The Crowd Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 pendulum's new album Immersion out 24th May includes Immunize featuring Liam Howlett (The Prodigy) Self Versus Self featuring In Flames & The Fountain featuring Steve Wilson Looking forward to this album, especially the two emboldened tracks. I've heard a small clip of the In Flames one and it sounds mint. I'd say that anyway, my favourite band along with Opeth.

Jonezy Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 They cancelled the gig in Coventry I had tickets for but I have just secured a ticket for their Rock City date in October lets hope they keep up the live show standards they have set until then Man, October is far away, but if a band is worth the wait, they are. Hopefully they will stop by Copenhagen sometime soon as well.
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2010 Posted 13 May 2010 Holy ****, Holy **** have issued another cracking album:
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2010 Posted 13 May 2010 And The Acorn are due another wonderful alt-rock album in a month's time.
Joe. Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Must say I am very impressed with the Nas & Damian Marley effort.
