MC Prussian Posted 7 March 2010 Posted 7 March 2010 Finnegan & Daggers et Welsh al. might like this pyschodelic Aberystwyth group of four: Debut album "Goodbye Falkenberg".

Samilktray Posted 10 March 2010 Posted 10 March 2010 Personally I'm quite excited for a new Scouting For Girls album.
Samilktray Posted 10 March 2010 Posted 10 March 2010 Giggs performed an exclusive track off his new album on Zane Lowe tonight, his albums gonna be up there with the best albums of this year for me I reckon.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 One of the best things I've heard all year so far. You Sir have very good taste in Music
Joe. Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 You Sir have very good taste in Music Touché sir, touché.
Joe. Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 MuteMath - Armistice Heard of these Alexei? Stumbled across them earlier after hearing the track 'Backfire', downloaded the album and it's superb.
MC Prussian Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Mutemath are a good shout, I very much like the melodic rock/electronica mix. I'm currently tending towards these guys (Roisin Murphy had them on her blog as a recommendation, apparently): Disco/electronica/hiphop with a funky touch. Sounds like the new Gnarls Barkley, and in many ways resembles the band the Black Eyed Peas could've been without Fergie.
Samilktray Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Not a fan of Crookers, most of there remixes wreck songs from the 1s I've heard. Kid Cudi - Day n Nite being the main 1.
hairy Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Baths - S/T debut http://www.myspace.com/bathsmusic ambient, electronic, hip hop, instrumental Loving it

Samilktray Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Personally I found the Crookers Kid Cudi remix far better than the original. Each to their own though. Just spoiled the stoner sound to it for me, but as you say, each to their own (:
samlcfc Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 One of the best things I've heard all year so far. Just downloaded this, very good

MC Prussian Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 I respect your music taste so am downloading it now of emusic!! so if it's rubbish I will be blaming you personally!! You may also blame me: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=63545&view=findpost&p=1581508 It's actually a really good album - didn't know the Northern Irish scene was so blooming.
Jay Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 You may also blame me: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=63545&view=findpost&p=1581508 It's actually a really good album - didn't know the Northern Irish scene was so blooming. aarrrgh that WOULD have been two of you to blame then but as on first listen the album is pretty good you are both safe from retribution! you were on the list as well though for Broken Bells but as I love The Shins you should be safe on that front
MC Prussian Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Briefly mentioned in the "What are you listening to?" thread, now in its full glory: Wonderful classic, melodic rock in the footsteps of Crosby, Stills & Nash or Fleetwood Mac (or a slowed down variation of Wintersleep) - with tracks reaching as long as 7 minutes. Epic. And beautiful.
