purpleronnie Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 So the 'smoke monster' has the power to take on dead peoples appearance, I intially thought the same had happend to sayid but he's alive and is 'infected' which may mean he's now on the dark side, evil side?. The whole 'good versus evil' thing seems to be more and more prevelant. Jacob seems to have claimed the ones he touches....good? And now loches been taken over by the monster.....evil? Maybe Claire too, and sayid, it seems the monster can infect those who are dying. As far as the alternative universe theory....maybe, but I cant help thinking the part where it shows you them on the plane is actually showing you how the series will end? However, the characters on the plane do seem to almost remember other characters, jack thinking he had met desmond before, and katie seeing jack and giving the impression she knew him. I thought the first 2 episodes were great, 3rd wasn't as good but still interesting.

But Desond was never on the original plane, he had sailed to the island and he was only on the plane when they flew over the island then when Jack returned to his chair Desmond was gone. Whats that all about? I still think its the garden of eden. Good and bad. Maybe Jacob and the smoke monster are linked to Cain and Abel. The smoke monster takes on the form of dead people. Was the smoke monster Jack's dad in the shack where they found Jacob and in the cave underground where the 'time wheel' was? Why wont the temple others tell them anything? And why are the temple others keen to protect them and make sure they return safely? Are both groups in the same time zone now? Why in the parallel time thing are there others? Are they making out that if the crash had not happened they would have carried on with their sad, miserable lives? I try not to think about all the questions too much and just enjoy the show.

Yes thats why he told Locke to do what he did, i can't quite remember the exact details, so eventually Locke would die so he could take the form of Locke and kill Jacob. I bet the smoke monster has spoke to Ben without him knowing so he would kill Locke but can't remember it really.

goose2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 the whole reason they had to go back to the island is kate, she was not one of jacobs numbers sawyer was so if she had jumped out of the helicopter the 'right 6' would of been off the island! cant wait for the richard or jacob episode!! 108th episode next as well so should be a good one as all the numbers add up to 108!
