Sly Posted 4 February 2010 Posted 4 February 2010 It's not really any different from someone wearing a hoodie is it really. Are we going to ban those as well? How about caps and scarfs. I'm not religous in the slightest but if people want to wear a burka, let them! It's their choice! This just states dictatorship!! They'll be telling us we can't wear jeans next!!
C-man Posted 4 February 2010 Posted 4 February 2010 Phillip Hollobone is a moron. Having said that, the Daily Mail is sure that wearing a burka causes cancer by reducing face to face contact.

I'm sure we've been through that arugment before in this thread. Go back and have a look It was agreed it wasn't an outright ban on items such as Hoodies, Caps, and well scarfs weren't discussed but there was still a ban in certain places on the other 2 items, Shopping Malls, Airports, Pubs/Clubs, Cinema's, Bowling Alleys, Bookies, Place's of high security, e.t.c where Burkas are allowed. I don't want to discuss this again i'm just letting you know that it's been discuss before in this thread.

It is offensive in my view to want to cut yourself off from face-to-face contact or recognition with other members of the human race." Well, it's offensive in my view that you and your kind keep taking my money and spending it on shit that I don't want and at the same time cutting budgets to things I do want! Doesn't stop you though does it?

BoneDog Posted 5 February 2010 Posted 5 February 2010 I don't get why it's funny! I know I don't earn much but I do pay tax on what I earn. Plus I spend all my cash on stuff that is taxed! I'm never left with any spare cash so I do give it all back. Mind you I never vote so I don't suppose it's oat to do with me what they do.

BoneDog Posted 5 February 2010 Posted 5 February 2010 Fantastic. If I thought it would make a difference if I voted for Tories or Labour then it might be worth going to the polling stations, but history says otherwise so for now I won't bother.
