Jimmy Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 another lad who came on the scene with a lot of promise but hasn't fulfilled it with us, shame
Matt Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Surprised Stringer didn't announce someone was leaving but couldn't say anything else on his Twitter last night.
Steven Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Rumours on TB say that Chambo is off to Grimsby on loan until the end of the season.

lildave3 Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Forgot he was still alive tbh. Hope he does well there.
davieG Posted 21 January 2010 Author Posted 21 January 2010 When's his contract up? The summer? 2011 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...t&p=1557929
Cobbo Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 is chambo_9 allowed to post on here again now as he is away from the club for a bit? Go on chambo!
Thracian Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 another lad who came on the scene with a lot of promise but hasn't fulfilled it with us, shame It's a shame indeed and it will be interesting to see how he fares on loan but his progress time here has really been affected by a couple of long-term injuries which to a great extent stopped him taking such chances as might have been offered to him. Whether he can follow the similarly unlucky Wesolowski and get a steady period of League football behind him I don't know. But at his best he certainly had the skill and pace to be a professional up to Division One at least. Let's just hope he's had his major setbacks early. Even it comes to his moving on there is life after Leicester. Weso's demonstrated that and I notice Swindon have hardly lost since Sheehan's arrival there before Christmas and are now in a run of form that has taken them from the bottom reaches of the division into a play-off place.
Vo Rogue Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 another lad who came on the scene with a lot of promise but hasn't fulfilled it with us, shame Is that a reflection on LCFC? Many seem to move on and do far better. Why is that?
Hitesh Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Good luck to the lad - hope he can get some good experience!
Jimmy Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Is that a reflection on LCFC? Many seem to move on and do far better. Why is that? name 1 person who has gone on to do "far better" when they left here, other then Emile Heskey
Vo Rogue Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Well Blind Jimmy Stearman seems to be performing wepp at a higher level, Mattock holding a place in a stronger team, Sheehan obviously introduces something to the teams he's played for in last year as Mr Thracian mentioned previously and even Weso is MOM most weeks and added something to Hamilton.

In addition, Chris O'Grady did alright at Rochdale, and Steve Wenlock went on to have a glittering career at Cambridge City.
lou Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/default.stm at that photo!! Why do they always try their upmost to make our players look horrific? Ive seen Chambers lots of times and hes not a bad looking kid in real life... he looks dreadful in that pic!

Stearman and Mattock are the only 1s who are playing at an equal or higher level, Wesolowski is STILL our player, Sheehan is being passed around almost as much as Trevor Benjamin

Yeah, Richard Stearman who makes reckless fouls, gets skinned and gets sent off. Sweet example. Mattock who has no positional sense and gets torn a new one when up against any even remotely decent winger? Again, supoib. Sheehan is doing AWESOME for himself seeing as he's playing at a higher level than we currently are... And up in Scotland, I heard they even have paraplegics playing at a decent standard in most of their league games.

Swindon went 16 games unbeaten after the first day of the season 5-0 loss to Gillingham and were in and around the play-offs after 20 games. Don't really see the impact Sheehan had before he got there, but then again nobody else would.
