Babylon Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 It was on the Sky Sports Ticker according to TB.
Jon the Hat Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Good. Hope it didn't cost too much, and results in someone else coming in. DJ Next please.
foxoffderby Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 For the best really. Probably payed him a small fee for his contract. Good luck for the future thanks for the memories, first time round. Can see him signing for the sheep until the end of the season he was a big hit there.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 shame didnt do much second time around but he always kept fit and did what was asked of him good luck and all the best shure there will be clubs that want him
Koke Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Beautiful. A big chunk off our wage bill. Hope DJ is next.
Matt Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! :scarf: :appl:   :bounce: Think i'll crack a bottle of champagne open! Fuck Off Dickov, Never wanted you here again anyway, And some people said he's be a 20 a goal player before last season, and said he'd be a good signing, don't make me laugh. Quite clearly a MM signing anyway. She said no Dickov, She said no, She said no Dickov, She said no, She said no Dickov, She said no, Paul Dickov she said no. Been waiting for this day for a season and a half.
Babylon Posted 1 February 2010 Author Posted 1 February 2010 anyone knw what he was on a week???? No.
Hitesh Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Good good - hopefully it will free up some wages now and we can bring in a player on loan. Someone tell DJ to go and follow him...
Unit Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Thank god for that, it's a shame he had to tarnish his Leicester career with this cameo really, he used to be good.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 A nice chunk off the wage bill. He's been a flop, waste of time signing him again.
Isopen Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 A nice chunk off the wage bill. He's been a flop, waste of time signing him again. Not necessarily, will have been a settlement, probably something like the difference between what he will be paid whereever he signs later today & what his contract was worth. Still some saving achieved though. Suppose DJ will end up at loan to Rams again, paying a small % of his wages
MPH Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 hadnt been as good this time round but was unable to capture his form as he wasnt given the opportunity to really after a fairly long time out with injury. I wonder if people would of seen him differently if he was picked when fully fit instead of playing to get fully fit. and then unsuprisingly dropped when not match sharp. Thanks for the memories, Paul.
The Padster Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 A nice chunk off the wage bill. He's been a flop, waste of time signing him again. This. Was a stunt in the first place when we were crying out for somebody who could score goals, lo and behold a familiar face who we know can bang em in turns up, cue MM signing him to get the fans on board etc. Only 6 odd months left on his contract anyway so shouldnt of cost a whole lot to get rid.
Wycombe Fox Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Sad that it didn't work out here for him a second time but I won't let that tarnish my memories of his first spell here. He made my young lad a very happy chappy when he took time to talk to him after his first game back after La Manga (a mid-week reserve game at Southampton). All the best wishes to him and thanks.

Wycombe Fox Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 I think Matt's probably finished that bottle of champagne already!
Scow Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 BBC Football claims he's been released as well... 1217: League One outfit Colchester have made the deal of on-loan midfielder David Prutton permanent after Leeds agreed to cancel his contract. And in the Championship, Leicester have released veteran striker Paul Dickov.
