SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Seemed like a hard fought second half important win to stay right up.
Mikey Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Cracking result. Players should be well up for Forest now.
mmarkie Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Great win very happy with it. Same team for Forest?
MC Prussian Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Seven games unbeaten. Conceded only five times in that period, but scored ten. 5th in the table. One game in hand compared to and four points ahead of Blackpool. And one cracking home match against a close & regional rival ahead on Saturday. Could it be any better? Heck yeah, if it all was Premiership stats - apart from the Tangerines bit maybe.
Dylan Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Surely Pearson will have some sense to not bring Oakley back into the starting X1 against Forest. We never won by enough. PEARSON OUT
mmarkie Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Surely Pearson will have some sense to not bring Oakley back into the starting X1 against Forest. We never won by enough. PEARSON OUT Solano to start?
dandannieldanok Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Thrilled with this, genuinely thought we'd struggle tonight but a win and a clean sheet............bring on Forest!
Hitesh Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Lovely away win and this is a BIG win. I know it might not seem it but this shows that we are hard to beat and can grind out a result when needed. Also, this is our game in hand and we have capitalised on it which has put us in 5th place! We need to take this into the next big game where I feel some revenge is required!
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 After yet another winning match thread start by me (smug) I will attempt to do the same on Saturday, again from the Isle of Wight ferry (and no jokes about 'What's brown and steams out of cow(e)s?')
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Of course we only won because Oakley didnt play....
Craig Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 OS Headline Doncaster Rovers 0 Leicester City 0Waghorn wins it
Dylan Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Solano to start? Well if he's fit then yes. He didn't sound bad today, sounded like he played quite well for the half he played. If not him then Adams. He sounded like he had an impact on the game. Oakley imo, just isn't good enough. He has a good game every now and then, but doesnt possess a pass to me. Same with Wellens. Dyer MUST start, last few games hes been playing excellent.
Corky Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Of course we only won because Oakley didnt play.... I thought King was the ineffective one?
Dylan Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 OS Headline I think they do it on purpose. They make too many mistakes.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 I thought King was the ineffective one? Never said ineffective, just quiet. But quiet is dangerous, besides seems him and Wellens had good games tonight.
Dylan Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 SkySportsNews just showed the goal. It was a good finish. And according to SSN, S****horpe drew 1-1 with Leicester. Were fantastic, win 1-0 in a match, and draw 1-1 simultaneously in another
harpendenfox Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Bert mentioned earlier that Bruno's booking would mean he would miss Saturday. That would be a real shame. Our unbeaten run coincides with his return I think, and Forest are undoubtedly strong down the flanks. Ah well, one man doesn't make a team. In a strange turn of events, time to re-sign Sheehan on-loan, for him to deliver the inch perfect cross for the winning goal. If not, i'll take Chrissy P's knowledge over anything else please
crisp monster Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 A fantastic win from the boys and should give us plenty of confidence going into Saturdays game Donny are the sort of team that will take points of our rivals going into the run in respect to all those that braved the cold and travelled up there and hope they all have a safe journey back hope they dedicate this and Saturdays victories to Bobby Smith
maddog Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 4 points clear of 7th with a game in hand. 6 points clear of 8th. 7 points clear of 9th with game in hand. 8 points clear of 10th with game in hand. Top 8 place 100% in the bag now. Top 6 place is ours for the taking now.
jonthefox Posted 23 February 2010 Author Posted 23 February 2010 I am soooooooooooooooooo looking forward to the visit of the scumbags now..
