Wish we'd make it more comfortable though, too many of our games have nervous finishes, but I suppose if we're on the right side of these narrow result then there's no problems. Hobbs sounded awesome, heading everything away and Weale proved his worth yet again. I felt we needed to win one of these away games and we've probably won the one which was least likey, typically Leicester. Those 2 draws seem like decent results now.

Listened to the second half on 5 Live Sports Extra and we sounded pretty comfortable, the reporters were saying how solid we were, and Paul Merson on SSN was praising our early intentions. Up to 5th now, and four points above 7th.

OR, like one of the 1-0 games from the promotion season last year.. I think Hartlepool at home comes to mind? Got the goal and essentially did nothing else. But, 3 excellent points away from home and I'm buzzing for Saturday now!

Jordan Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Sounds like one of those typical gritty performances often required to win away. Here's hoping LCFC's away day struggles are behind them. I like how the table looks; as Pearson said, their previous performances in this unbeaten run weren't always pretty, but because they picked up draws here and there when they weren't playing great, those points have added up and are already a huge help. Now let's get some points from Forest!
