lookwhaticando Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Fourth place after a one-nil win and a loss for Swansea. Eight points clear of 7th place with a game in hand.
Matt Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Sounded good, sounded professional, not quite sure what the referee was doing with the sending off/not giving a penalty - I'll have to wait and see it. It's looking good. Now to be the Covscum on Sunday now
MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 A Leicester - Forest playoff final looks more and more realistic. Oh my, what a fantastic season this is turning out to be. We hung on to it, should've gotten that penalty in the first. Nevertheless, great effort, some superb saves from Weale once more, "Hobbs wins the header" and up front we were more than just threatening with our strike force. Thank god for some Swiss Powerrr.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Great result, and it probably could have been more. The ref didnt seem to want to end the game which was rather nail biting!
Guest DavidJCW Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Good stuff! Shame about West Brom winning but all we can do is keep on winning and that'll keep us in the hunt for chasing them down!
C.J Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 4th place, game in hand. Im keeping the 22nd of may free! fooking come on!!!!!! E I E I E I O and all that. Not gonna sleep now !
Lillehamring Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 i think the best thing about getting 3 points tonight is the distance between us and the chasing pack... incredibly, only 10 points between seventh and nineteenth, i'm so glad we aren't involved in that...
Ozwin Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 If we win our game in hand we could be 9 points off 2nd (west brom), not saying it'll be likely that West Brom will lose 3 games but if we beat them when we play them then who knows? Am I getting carried away?
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Anyone who thinks we're not going to make the play-offs now is barking mad. It would take a cock-up of epic proportions to screw it up from here. Fantastic result. Now let's see our home form take us through to 4th or 5th.
Salieri Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Barring the non performance at Sheff Wed, what a run of results we've had to get us into such a superb position. Hats off to Nige, his staff and the lads. Fantastic stuff, keep it up!
maddog Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 This season has become so good it's almost funny. Absolutely unbelieveable. We're actually going to catch Forest up, who would have thought it If West Brom go on a bad run, fook knows what may happen, fook knows.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 It's not over until the fat lady sings. 2nd place is still up for grabs in my eyes!

We're actually going to catch Forest up, who would have thought it If West Brom go on a bad run, fook knows what may happen, fook knows. This won't happen. Best team we have played at home all season by far. It's a race for the playoffs and tbh as long as Forest stay 3rd and we stay 4th or 5th, I'm happy.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Didnt realise Donny had sneaked up to 8th, makes our win up there look very good. Cov now tenth, by Sunday evening they could be 13/14th, where they belong!
Corky Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Great result at a ground we traditionally don't do well at. Sides around us losing, moving up a place. Excellent time to be a fan of this club
Daggers Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 1-0? Pile of shit. These are the teams we should be beating 27-0 if we are to consider ourselves truly massive. Smashing bunch of lads or not, Dirty Barry would agree with me when I say we need DJ Campbell back.
