Dylan Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Win our next 10 games and we'll get automatic promotion
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 I don't know if it's partly down to the red bull I downed earlier but I'm absolutely buzzing right now. Honestly, I've not been this happy as a Leicester fan in like, forever. I was only 10 when we won the Worthington Cup and didn't realise it was as big as it was back then. It's ****ing brilliant being a Leicester fan right now. Same here. I think it's the realisation that we could possibly get promoted again.
martyn Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Just sitting at East Croydon station now. We were totally superior for 75 minutes, played some really nice stuff and generally looked about 2 or 3 levels above Palace. Last 15 minutes were unnecessarily scary without Palace really creating anything, not helped by morons in the crowd complaining about our keep ball which was actually really effective at the start of the 2nd half. Solano was absolute class tonight, you may lose the pace but not the ability.
Daggers Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 I am totally aghast at what our club is achieving this season. I never dared to consider promotion to the Prem this season but we really are giving ourselves a chance. Quite incredible considering pre-season expectations. Wembley? Surely not!
Ozwin Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Pearson's gonna be pushing the players for automatic, he's not gonna let them think the season's over already. Jesus, what am I saying?!!
jonw88 Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Absolutely buzzing now for the Coventry game, haven't been for such a long time, let's hope it's worth it! If we did make it to the playoff finals, its in the middle of my final uni exams so I'd miss them! Gutted doesn't quite describe it!
lcfcadam Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 And we even won a game in that awful beauty pageant away strip. Eh? I love that kit - have done ever since QPR away which kind of immortalised it to me... If only the Megastore could be organised enough to get a long-sleeved medium men's in stock it'd be my pride and joy!
Bert Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Not another period, Bert? Your last one only finished a week or so ago. Maybe you should see a doctor about that as well? Or maybe you should stop getting the arse when other people say what they want to do so as well. Maybe you should go and see a doctor about that.
Brainy Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 "IF West Brom go on a bad run.." "IF we somehow win our last 10 games" maddog you're annoyingly optimistic.
tylesta Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 have to agree....bert is always on the blob....only jokin son!
Ozwin Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 maddog needs to don a cheerleaders outfit and get some pom poms going. Actually, no... we don't need to see that.
Candidcamera Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 The substitution of Waghorn with Howard was always going to make it a negative last quarter of an hour. It was a shame that Vaughan was not picked/fit tonight. The City are on a roll.
WardyisPukka Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 im seriously thinkin about wembley now!! neevr ever thought we wud be in this position at the start of the season , PEARSON =GOD
Corky Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 "IF West Brom go on a bad run.." "IF we somehow win our last 10 games" maddog you're annoyingly optimistic. I get what you mean, but I'd rather see that than looking for problems that don't really exist
Craig Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 The best thing about this is that there's so many teams fighting for the playoffs, that each matchday a few of them play each other and drop points. This, whilst we happily keep picking points up; extending the gap. Lovely. Wembleyyy.
Guest Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Totally worth the 3 hours sleep I'll now get before work. Loved it. We played some nice passing football again tonight, particularly the first half and the last 15 minutes were a bit tense. I'm seriously impressed with this team, they've done us all proud this season and I've enjoyed every minute (apart from Forest away ) well done to everone who made it down tonight too
Smudge Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Immense result, I was dragged out just before half time by herself. After doing what we went out for, I said let's go to the pub, she readily agreed. So with pint in hand , I say's "Let me use your phone". I wanted to check the result, "I don't have it' you rushed me as we were leaving" Mrs Smudge is nursing a fat lip.
shen Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 If we win our game in hand we could be 9 points off 2nd (west brom), not saying it'll be likely that West Brom will lose 3 games but if we beat them when we play them then who knows? Am I getting carried away? Yes. Yes you are
Bert Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 have to agree....bert is always on the blob....only jokin son! You'll have blood blobbing out of your nose next time I see you pal!
mitchofox Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 never felt more like singing the blues, when Leicester win and Forest lose, Oh Leicester you got me singin the blues 2.. 3.. 4........
StanSP Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 I guess if we're winning against Cov, and look destined to see out the win, then we can sing '1-0 and you fucked it up' towards Cov fans
Shane Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Good result, and everyone seems to be mentioning second place. Heres West broms remaining fixtures: Preston Coventry City Reading Leicester City Watford Doncaster Middelsborough Crystal Palace Now, considering we win our game in hand we'll be 9 points behind west brom. I seriously cannot see them dropping 9 points in these remaining fixtures, as most of them are winnable for them. I think we still need to be realistic here, and it's all their to be lost in a blink of an eye and right now if the season finished tomorrow, I would be happy with our current position.
Bert Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 I guess if we're winning against Cov, and look destined to see out the win, then we can sing '1-0 and you fucked it up' towards Cov fans I don't get it.....
Stevosevic Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 I don't get it..... I assume he's referring to Coventry's match tonight?
