It takes time and money to find out what those strengths are but sadly both are not always available.

Many years ago when in nursery I was very slow at reading. By the time I got to the juniors somehow I was one of the fastest in the class and the teacher even had me helping the slower ones. I am not the brightest person My attention span is slow but I make up for it in other ways. Teachers have a hard job sorting kids out and adjusting for each. The teacher has to recognise the fifferentials. Best of luck to them.

I think Finners or DavieG have the highest rep count.

Yeah, yeah, you with your 1000+!

(I had a quick flick through and there's no one even approaching Finners' rep... I KNOW! :o )

I'd have thought Bert would be pretty close as well wouldn't he?

There are ways of recognising the differentials. Keeping up to date with marking, varying your practice and lesson planning as well as observing practice of other teachers while training are all valid methods.

Definitely on wrong thread!

I'm wondering what happens first for me now.

10,000 posts or 1,500 rep points.

Hmmm......

It's because I treat everyone on here with the same level of respect and consideration. :)
