Head Honcho Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Heard this playing over the tannoy on Sunday and it didn't seem like the crowd were embracing it too much! Maybe I'm wrong but can someone let me know how it was welcomed.
Narborough_fox Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Was embraced very well actually maybe only end bit though BUT if it is played more will become a lot more welcomed and hopefully how it used to be at Filbo!
Webbo Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Heard this playing over the tannoy on Sunday and it didn't seem like the crowd were embracing it too much! Maybe I'm wrong but can someone let me know how it was welcomed. The longer it went on the more the crowd picked up. I didn't like it for a start but I think it'll grow on me.
Bluefoxtim Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 I sung along to the 'when you're smiling' bit at the end. I lost my voice before we even kicked off.
Clarkielcfc Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 do we know ifit will come avaliable for download?? would be surprised if it didnt!!
Ozwin Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Course it will. And it was received really well I thought, considering it was only the 2nd time it was played. Like I said last night it's a shame it's been introduced this late in the season because it's gonna gain some momentum the more it's played.
Clarkielcfc Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 couldnt't agree more with the post above, it was really well received on sunday, i felt it got the crowd going nicely. more of the same next season too!! we can do it tomorrow night. come on! LCFC!!!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Thought it was going to be released with some kind of benefit for LOROS in mind?
milan_foxes Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Just listened to it again, we should make it like 'YNWA'. Would be quality

themotivator Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 am i the only one who hates this version of WYS? (sorry jersey)
LCFC BEAST Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 In all honesty not everyone knows the words and if we sang it in the same rhythm as JB's version it could very well turn in to our anthem like we all want
themotivator Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 In all honesty not everyone knows the words and if we sang it in the same rhythm as JB's version it could very well turn in to our anthem like we all want apart from the fact that JB has got the rhythm and tune all wrong making it almost impossible to sing along to. oh well especially when there are some absolutely beautiful versions of this song been recorded over the years. Louis Armstrong, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Prima and probs my favourite (although i'm not sure we can get the fosse boys to sound quite as good as her) Billie Holiday. would much rather hear any of those versions ring out around the king power to be honest.
