milan_foxes Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Just seen it go along the bottom of my telly on Sky Sports News...
ramboacdc Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Situation Vacant: defence in need of a bald nutter, must be able to live upto the standards of matty elliot and wayne brown. looks like we should train steve howard to defend now! we need a good crazy man at the back!
FoxyPV Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Situation Vacant: defence in need of a bald nutter, must be able to live upto the standards of matty elliot and wayne brown. Alleged racists need not apply
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Just need someone as a replacement now then, we are a bits short at the back. Was a fee involved? Probably small if there was.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Wayne Brown is nowhere near in the same league as Matt Elliott! He was a legend, in my eyes at least... Brown was never a player I particularly liked nor thought much of in the team. Glad he's gone... it'll be interesting to see who the new manager brings in to fill the spot.
Jodranadinho Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 I feel that he's gone since he will probably go further down the pecking order now that tunch is gaining fitness each day.
Joe. Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Inevitable move really, despite the fact he's been a good player for us. We've got more than adequate replacements though, no tears lost on this one.
Daggers Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 With the inevitable Tunchev injury on the horizon, whoops of joy at this sad sale may be slightly presumptuous. There was little chance of him staying but there are problems left in the squad; He's not going to be the last one sold off this summer.
darko2k7 Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 BNP PNE he probably thought they were connected some how
ousefox Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 We will definitely need to get another CB in now as i can only think of Hobbs and Morrison who are fully fit now and i would be very suprised if Morrison plays in the middle this year unless we bring in a decent RB. Hopefully we will see the dream team of Tunch and Hobbs in the middle for most of this season though

Neilson Adams? Dyer? Oakley? Howard? Campbell? Wouldn't be upset at any of those being improved upon.
MattyFromLE Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Weale? Are you mad? Dyer? Both good key players i thought last season.
darko2k7 Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Weale? Are you mad? Dyer? Both good key players i thought last season. second that he was very close to beating hobbs to player the year last season i would be devastated if weale went
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Glad he's gone, went to the Doncaster game when Matty broke his jaw and all evening me and my mate could guarentee he was going to hoof the ball! AWFUL
lanxfox Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Wouldn't be a major loss, we don't need any racist ba****d's around anyway
MC Prussian Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Good luck at Preston, Wayne. You may not have the legs for football, but your head made more than just up for it. You were a rock-solid defender doing everything in your powers to keep the ball out of the box, if I'm allowed to say so. You did mostly well on the pitch and I'd like to thank you for the time spent with Leicester. Just keep your trap shut in the vicinity of easily "impressed" team members in the future.
Collymore Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Wouldn't be a major loss, we don't need any racist ba****d's around anyway Why is he racist?
hackneyfox Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 There are better goalies around than Weale. He started well but flapped towards the end of the season. I want a top goalie not an adequate one and he was no more than that over the season. Dyer wasn't bad but I think this is his limit so he should be improved upon.
buzzy Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Wouldn't be a major loss, we don't need any racist ba****d's around anyway how do you know he was a racist .it was just rumours and gossip

How Did he FLOP last season apart from the Derby game he was solid nearly every game he saved us more times than i can think off last year You name me a keeper that was better last season than weale that we could realisticy bring in ....there isn't one
Chairman of the Bored Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Goodbye Wayne. Hair today. Gone tomorrow.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Solid defender to be fair. Been a good player for us overall so can't knock him for that. However, I started to dislike him after the Derby game with his antics. He is thick as pig sh!t. And although I say overall he was a good player for us, his performances against Forest, Bristol showed he can be torn apart by a bit of pace. Not to mention distribution. Overall pleased to see the back of him but Cheers for your efforts Wayne.

How do you know there isn't a better keeper out there, have you scouted them all? Just my opinion on Weale but I'm picky with goalies, I remember Shilton, Wallington, Flowers & Keller But the everyone on this board thought the previous flapper was good as he saved a couple of penalties. Neither of them were/are generally rated too highly on Bentleys.
