Simi Posted 5 August 2010 Share Posted 5 August 2010 Not played this years at all, but as some have said, I'll buy this year anyway. I think it's become a little too much as well to be honest. A game based on being the Chairman would be very much welcomed n'all.

coale39 Posted 5 August 2010 Share Posted 5 August 2010 A chairman game would be fantastic! But wouldn't it just be like a business sim game? Trying to find investment and sponsors etc?

Fox You Forest Posted 5 August 2010 Share Posted 5 August 2010 Build your wealth up by buying and selling clubs, eventually having enough money to be able to follow Warnock around from club to club and keep sacking him.

ramboacdc Posted 5 August 2010 Share Posted 5 August 2010 Leaked info Included in this year’s game will be: Improved training options More complex module for searching new players Improved graphics and 3D view of the game Introduction of football agents to the game Playing games in evenings (so called night effect) Differentiated weather conditions
stripeyfox Posted 6 August 2010 Share Posted 6 August 2010 Sadly due to my age my 'football manager' days go back even further. Anyone remember such gems as 'Football Director' and 'Tracksuit Manager'? I used to buy all of the management games on my Electron and Spectrum. The original Football Manager of course. Used to love Football Director and Tracksuit Manager. Also remember one called "Soccer Supremo" which was ace, because the players didn't have ratings as such but had a descritpion of them in the manual - eg "he has been the reserve team goalie for 2 seasons after being released by Liverpool, but shows promise". Treble Champions was good as well, and the Premier Manager series on the Amiga took a lot of time - calculating which advertising board would generate most revenue. DB11 Posted 7 August 2010 Share Posted 7 August 2010 agents will be in it. It's a touchy subject though, isn't it? Imagine Agent XYZ doing an illegal approach on the game and then the legal issues surrounding it etc.
shen Posted 7 August 2010 Share Posted 7 August 2010 I can exclusively reveal there will in fact be more than 6 new things added to FM11 I wasn't expecting any less Just the ones listed above are but tweaks or cosmetic surgery (no offense ), nothing that enhances gameplay a great deal, hence my lukewarm reaction. TrickyTrev Posted 7 August 2010 Share Posted 7 August 2010 It's a touchy subject though, isn't it? Imagine Agent XYZ doing an illegal approach on the game and then the legal issues surrounding it etc. Well if that is an issue they should just create fake agents. I would much prefer they programme the agents to be devilish and dificult to deal with, with fake names, than have real agents as a cosmetic feature.
