Jon the Hat Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 This valuation would be the difference between a club on the decline and one knocking on the door of promotion...
Houdini Logic Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Finally healthy food and a good selection of foreign beer in the turnstiles... Quite looking forward to coming to the Walkers now. Singha and Pad Thai please!

MPH Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Davie G, you need to get onto the club about this.. I have been thinking about 'exciting monthly benefits' for season ticket holders and how this take over could impact them. Here are my suggestions: Free ladyboy weekends (if anyone is that way inclined) 50% off at Siam corner Infact that's all I could think of.
haraven Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Alexei, what are you on about - we go to England for THEIR beer - I don't want no rubbish Heineken, Kirin, Carlsberg or Tuborg - I want real ale like Newcastle Brown Ale, Beamish, Old Speckled Hen -- the list goes on and on! I'll personally turnstile any attempts of selling blank euro- or thaibeer out through the Walkers and beyond the river.

Currently, when it comes to beer, one is offered the wide and varied selection of Greene King IPA (a potentially good beer completely ruined by the fast-food style serving equipment) for bitter old cronies or Carlsberg Extra Cold (shit) for lager louts.

Never been to a bar at Walkers. I go to the pubs that serve ale before and after the game. That is my protest against the serving of noob alcohol
Mort Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 This still moving along? Usual caveats apply, but was told folks were at the club yesterday going over the books.* *or so i was told by someone who says they were there and I've no reason to think they weren't.

I meant "... as well as selling Singha in addition to the already plentiful of English beer choices within the turnstiles." But you have to admit, some fresh and healthy Thai curry would be a nice addition to the rather one-sided Walkers concourse menu.
Jackirius Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 My bad, my E key is knackered... Got some Chinese underneath it the other night

FrankieADZ Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 theres a piece on the takeover on EMT on BBC1 now, Milan says the takeover is close and he'll remain as chairman, and it would make Leicester a global brand
