I'm pretty sure it wasn't that Mensur guy it was Nir Mansour from Real Madrid Academy? Left back?

Yeah you are right it was Mansour, says on the OS.

Meanwhile, Sousa is running the rule over three trialists during the squad's training camp in Slovenia.

Slovenian under-21 international striker Leon Crncic, Montenegro right- back or midfielder Elsad Zverotic and Israeli defender Nir Mansour, who can play left back, are all trying to impress Sousa.

All three were set to feature in a training game last night against Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystock. Jagiellonia won the Polish Cup last season and qualified to play in the third round qualification of the UEFA Europa League this year.

Crncic, 20, was recently with Italian side Atalanta and has been capped 14 times by his country, while Zverotic, 23, featured last season for Swiss side FC Luzern.

Nineteen-year-old Mansour has recently been released by Real Madrid and has represented Israel at under-21 level. He was recently linked with a move to West Ham.

The trio and the rest of the 23-man squad were due to play some part in last night's hastily-arranged game, and City will face a local team in another game tomorrow before returning to Leicester on Sunday.

Mansour and Crnic sound the most impressive with international experience. No real surprise to see us linked with Israeli players now that Zahavi appears to be the club's new best friend. Zverotic might not make the grade when we have Morrison or Vitor to play at right back though. Still, nice to see Paulo casting the net wider.

How would they get work permits?

Mandaric is going to turn the Walkers Stadium into an EU Embassey and all players will have diplomatic credentials.

According to wikipedia Zverotic has 12 caps for montenegro where as Crnic is only an u21 international.

I think slovenia are part of the EU so that would account for one of them.

Correct.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was easy for the montegrin, as they are on the fast track to EU membership, and I'm sure there are arrangements when it comes to Israel.

However we just have to hope that by the time they come to apply for them we haven't reached out 'immigration cap' or else we would be fooked then!

The Merc keep going about on the hasty arrangements don't they! You wonder if no one told them and they had to catch a cab or something....

If I remember correctly, no friendlies were originally scheduled when the training camp was arranged by pearson et all...
