Dylan Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 First game of the 2010/11 season- Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Last season we did the double over them, a 1-0 win away with a Berner goal, and a 2-0 win at home with a Gallagher brace. We're unbeaten in 4 league games against them too. Palace have had a lot of financial trouble recently, and have had to sell some players, but their key man is Darren Ambrose- a dangerous, goalscoring midfielder. They finished 21st last season, just avoiding relegation. My prediction- Crystal Palace 1-2 Leicester City (Ambrose; Campbell, Howard) Come on City!
scinnell Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Selhurst Park is a dodgy ground for us, with fairly few goals, I will go for a draw 0-0 or 1-1 with howard scoring for us
Guest Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Are you maddog in disguise? Are you maddog in disguise?
Callabinho Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I actually think this will be our toughest game this season, Palace have just come of the back of a torrid season with all kinds of problems, so they will want to prove something! As for us we need to make sure we go for it, and show people that we are a strong team! Leicester of old would loose this game! So I am hoping for a win, it will show we have good character and that keep ball is the way forward!
KFS Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Saw Darren Mbrose at Bluewater the other day, just throwing that in Anyway, an ambitious 3-1 Leicester with Dj, Fryatt and Gally scoring. Anyway, heavily anticipating this and can't wait to get chanting again!
Fosse Boy Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Are you maddog in disguise? Are you maddog in disguise? Was gonna say, poor old doggy-dogg'll be pissed someone's stolen his thunder. Reckon Palace will give us a good game. Five goal thriller in our favour.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I fancy a win on Saturday to get an exciting season started. 2-1 with goals from Campbell and the rejuvenated Andy King scoring.
ousefox Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 6-1 loss making the investors run away and seeing Sousa lose his job after just 1 game.
milan_foxes Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Can't see anything but a win for us to be honest. 1-2 (Ambrose; DJ & Dyer) COME ON YOU BLUUUUUUUESS
smallpauldj Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 my honest opinion is 4-0 city as soon as we get the first the palace players will just think here we go again and crumble. King, Fryatt (2) Morrison. top of the league on day one = happy days
Dan Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 No result would surprise me to be honest, can see them beating us as much as us beating them. First day though ain't it, gotta be positive, 0-1 win with King scoring.
Fox92 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 With Crystal Palace just coming back from a horrid season (after all, they were around the play-offs before the points deduction, so they were never as bad as some of teams around them last season) and with a new manager (I like George Burley and think he's a decent manager at this level) and some new players in place, I think this game will be quite tough. 2-2 draw, with Campbell and Morrison scoring for us. Can't wait anyway, it's my first visit to Selhurst Park! Come on Leicester!
theboxman1986 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 It's gonna be tough but I think we'll win 2-0 King, Dyer
dpjfox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 a draw not disasterous i fancy us to sneek it 0-1 dj who else!
LCFCkid Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 2-1 win, DJ then Howard last minute Come on you foxes
Jfox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 5-1 To Us. Campbell, King 2, Fryatt, Howard. Lee for them
lcfcbradyboy Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 3-1 to us campbell 2 and fryatt 1 scannel for them
Corky Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I'm going to sit on the fence and say 1-0 to Leicester.
darko2k7 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Always a tight and nervous game down there but i feel city have got a new type of confedence in the style of play so game might be more open than normal SO ill say CP 2 - 3 City ( , DJ (2) ..Dany N'Guessan LAST MINUTE WINNER)
Vlad The Impaler Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 2-2 Campbell and Bruno with the goals. It's not going to be as easy as what some people think.
