Guest Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 2-0 Brown and Kermorgant. They'd have to be the fiercest shots ever from those distances
Lillehamring Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 hmmm, tough one to call - both teams are an unknown quantity. i'd like to think we have as much to prove, after the playoff loss, we also have a team that is as settled as any in the division. the 2 main questions are: 1. will we play passing football, like planned, and will we click - if so yes, we'll win - if not, well... 2, how will we cope if the passing game doesn't work, or palace can deal with it... as sousa has said, it comes down to the kind of decisions the players make.
[email protected] Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 i reckon we have to be in full voice for a win show palace the 12th man advantage 3-2 to us camball hat trick out of intrest wheres fryatt theese days did he get injured or somethin(bear in mind i live in florida)
Kenners Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Personally I believe the first competitive game against decent opponents will result in a tough match and I can see the players getting frustrated. This might result in half of them falling back into what they were used to under Pearson and the other half staying with Paulo's style, which might not end well. But hopefully they'll be able to stick at it even if Palace can thwart the passing game. Looking forward to it!
Stevosevic Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 They'd have to be the fiercest shots ever from those distances That's what we were promised when Kermorgant signed. And Brown is due a goal.
Corky Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 i reckon we have to be in full voice for a win show palace the 12th man advantage 3-2 to us camball hat trick out of intrest wheres fryatt theese days did he get injured or somethin(bear in mind i live in florida) No, he's played all of pre-season.
[email protected] Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 No, he's played all of pre-season. thanks the only newspaper we get over here is the daily mail so not much leicester news
Alexikokopops Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Selhurst Park is a dodgy ground for us, with fairly few goals, I will go for a draw 0-0 or 1-1 with howard scoring for us It's not that dodgy a ground. Palace have only beaten us there twice in 15 years.
DB11 Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 I think Weale Neilson Hobbs Morrison Berner Dyer Oakley King N'Guessan Howard DJ
Guest Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 I think Weale Neilson Hobbs Morrison Berner Dyer Oakley King N'Guessan Howard DJ This but with Fryatt in for Howard. Think one of the quotes from PS in the Merc the other day alluded to Fryatt starting on Saturday and they seem to be working fairly well together judging by pre season reports
filbertway Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Will take a draw, would be delighted with a win though, away games are never easy, I'm hoping we can be as sturdy as we were last season and pick up points away from home when we realistically have a chance. Having not seen any pre season action I'm going to go for 1-1, with Weale making another mistake
Uncle Monty Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Am I going to be the first to ask if there will be a link to watch the game?
StanSP Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Going for a 2-1 or 2-0 to us. Hopefully KIng will overcome Ambrose in the game. Should be a good battle between them 2. Campbell and King to score
KFS Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Weale Neilson Vitor Hobbs Berner Moreno Wellens King Gallagher Fryatt Campbell I think he could possibly put this out you know, he hasn't made signings for nothing after all. We'll see...
Rich Fox Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Whatever happens it wont be 1-1 as everyone is saying that. I am not to optimistic and think we will lose 1-0 horrible place to go 1st game.
Wymsey Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 3-1 to us campbell 2 and fryatt 1 scannel for them Scannel out for season mate!
