Logan 4 - Could've done better with their third and last.

Neilson 6 - Nearly missed his goal, but attacked well, always stood up and was reasonably solid.

Kennedy 5 - Slow start, looked very shaky, but got better as the game went on.

Hobbs 4 - Head wasn't there, didn't look comfortable all night long.

Moreno 7 - Looks good, calm and composed.

N'Guessan 6 - Better than Saturday and looked dangerous at times.

Gallagher 6 - Got too easily frustrated when he didn't get the ball, but it was good to have him back.

Oakley 5 - Got well stuck in, but didn't really add anything to the game.

Wellens 7 - A big player for us, good finish and was all over the park.

Howard 7 - Well shackled tonight, but held the ball up and knocked it off well.

Fryatt 6 - Still didn't want to seem to pass, but scored a fantastic first goal, and put a decent finish to his finish.

Verma 6 - First time I've seen him play competitive, and he surprised me, looked half decent.

Campbell 6 - Worked back well and even got stuck in, but he's not a winger.

Morrison 5 - Didn't look comfortable, again.

Logan 5 - Looked a bit at lost tonight at times.

Neilson 7 - Thought he had a pretty decent game tonight!

Hobbs 3 - worst I have ever seen him play, looked nervous and uncomfortable!

Moreno 8 - Touch was perfect, passing accurate, and showed experience at the back conceded silly goals when he was moved out!

Kennedy 6 - Thought he was pretty solid! has a nice set piece on him too!

N'Guessan 6- Inconsistant! could be such a threat if he worked on his final ball! he will blossom with more confidence.

Oakley 7 - thought he did his role well tonight, still needs to open his mouth when mistakes are made!

Wellens 7 - Had a good game, got a good goal too! works better with King than Oakley!

Gallagher 6 - Had an ok game, not his best! but just coming back from injury good game time.

Fryatt 6.5 - Squandered allot of good chances! but got two good goals, if he could improve his accuracy even more your looking a 30 goals easy!

Howard 8 - Played well again! caused problems for their back four! unlucky not to grab a goal!

im not Howards biggest fan, but i was very impressed with him today! he looked sharp and his passing was pretty good, maybe against this level of team he can shine, but he worked hard.

nice to see fryatt get a couple and braveheart, well done!!!

Logan 5.5 Few good saves, but looked dodgy.

Neilson 7 Impressed, though against a League 2 side. As if he scored!

Hobbs 4 Shit. What was he doing for the third goal?!

Moreno 6 Nothing impressive.

Kennedy 5 Looked a bit like Mattock, light wieght.

N'Guessan 6 Could have scored, his final ball was always poor.

Oakley 4 Anonymous.

Wellens 7 Ok game, took goal well.

Gallagher 6 Few good movements and touches.

Fryatt 7 Should have scired 4 or 5, not deadly enough.

Howard 7 Wouldve been nice to have seen him score.

Logan 5 Not good. Usual Logan.

Neilson 6 Solid if unspectacular performance. Got forward quite often and neat finish but at time his distribution and decision making was poor.

Hobbs 3 Awful, unspeakably bad. At fault for two goals.

Moreno 6 Solid performance against very limited opposition.

Kennedy 5 Got better as it went on but looks no better than McGivern (although his positioning is better).

N'Guessan 6 If he could cross he'd be quite useful, he can't so he isn't. He'd be sensational at Div 2 level, alas we're in the Champ.

Wellens 7 Neat and tidy play, at the heart of all good. Has to play ahead of Oakley.

Oakley 6 Ok. Still too slow though.

Gallagher 6 Ok. Just a fitness exercise for him but some neat short passing.

Fryatt 6 Typical Fryatt, missed some very presentable chances then scores a couple of nice goals. Energetic but still holds on too long to the ball.

Howard 7 Solid again, to use the cliche 'nice touch for a big man' and put a real shift in.

Logan 6 - Thought he did alright to be honest, made two very good saves, the first of which sadly finished in their third goal.

Neilson 7 - Really pleasing to see him with some confidence going forward, capped off with a goal. A couple of typical errors, but generally he's looking much better under Sousa.

Hobbs 3 - Just awful. Gave away a silly corner, was beaten to the resulting header for the goal and gave the ball away for the third. Add in a host of other moments where the ball was lost and you don't have a good performance.

Moreno 6.5 - Little to deal with, but looks handy on the ball. A simple man - get and give.

Kennedy 5.5 - Ropey.

N'Guessan 5.5 - Lively but struggled with his final ball and finish.

Oakley 6 - Got his foot in when it was needed and looked reasonable on the ball.

Wellens 8 - Orchestrated everything, if he's not in the team Saturday something's badly wrong.

Gallagher 5.5 - Can't really think of ftoo much he did if I'm honest.

Fryatt 6 - Two fine goals but should have had more. Still a little greedy in possession but it's good to see him scoring again.

Howard 8 - Top display. Involved in nearly eveything going forward, he held the ball up well and his link-up play was top notch. Worked his socks off all game.

Did we miss Berner?

I got a bit excited with the takeover talk so I edited the FM database to give us a super rich sugar daddy who gave me a £200M transfer kitty. Berner still managed to keep the LB positon all season, he's so reliable.

Logan (6). Pretty average performance really, thought he should've done a bit better with the first.

Neilson (7). Very good effort from him, looked so much more comfortable than he has done and I'd honestly consider playing him against Boro, great finish too.

Hobbs (3). Shocking. As bad as I've ever seen him play for us I'm afraid, but then again I'm glad he got this 3 today rather than Saturday :whistle:

Moreno (8). Seen better defensively but I thought on the ball he was as good as any defender we've had in years, so comfortable and composed, got superb vision too.

Kennedy (5). Started shocking but got better as the game went on, good cover I reckon.

N'Guessan (5). Didn't do a great deal for me to be honest.

Wellens (9). Thought he was fvcking superb. Completed so many good passes, took the absolute piss of them in the end I thought, well taken goal too.

Oakley (4). Doesn't offer enough to the team for me, seems to be too negative at times, breaks down fast pace moves himself by slowing the tempo down.

Gallagher (7). Good effort from him tonight, some lovely touches and passes.

Fryatt (7). Pretty regular threat, and took his goals very well indeed, thought he made a couple of mistakes though.

Howard (9). Absolutely flawless, honestly think he is one of our best passers and he hardly ever gave it away.

Neilson! :D

I personally thought N'Guessan and Kennedy were woeful.

Especially N'Guessan. Had absolute no end product, struggled to get past his man most of the time and should have bagged himself.

Neilson 7 - One of his better games tho wasnt tested by a pacy winger running at him

Hobbs 4- so far away from the player of the year really shaky esp when on left

Moreno 7 - Good solid debut seemed to sub himself

Kennedy 5 - Very nervous at 1st but improved but expected a little more as he knows Maccs level better than most

N'Guessan 6- Inconsistant! great bullet header but gave the ball away too much

Oakley 6 - steady no great shakes no disasters!

Wellens 7 -worked hard all night and a better bet in midfield than Oakley once AK returns

Gallagher 6 - Some good touches esp as he was playing on the left surely Dyer is better there?.

Fryatt 7 - missed a couple but scored a couple looked a bit low on confidence until that 1st goal

Howard 8 -MOTM all that was missing was a goal! came deep often and showed some very good touches class act

DJ 6 cant make my mind up bout him was strangely played in midfield when he came on and didnt enjoy it 1st one down the tunnel at the end

Verma 5 didnt do much but what he did was simple and accurate

Never thought we wouldnt win even at 1 down but the defence looked really shaky yes Nielsen and Moreno looked ok but you defend as a unit and they were part of it.. is this the new system or a lack of fitness I dont think anyone them are nearly as fit as they should be

Neilson 7 Looked solid but still not comfortable with ball at feet

Hobbs 3 Seriously lacking form - where has his leadership skills disappeared too?

Moreno 8 I was impressed. Composed on the ball and not one misplaced pass - good signs

Kennedy 3 Very poor and nervous

N'Guessan 7 Tried to get himself into the game and at times had good success.

Oakley 4 Game passed by him like it did most of last season

Wellens 7 Was more on the ball than Oakley, good goal and tried to be busy

Gallagher 6 Poor first half but improved

Fryatt 7 More of the Matty Fryatt that we are used to seeing - as previosuly mentioned could have hatful (missed chances inc 1on1 first hald and a free diving header he completely missed in the 2nd)

Howard 7 Work rate deserved a goal. His style suits Sousa's system

DJ 6 Wasnt really involved but looks sharp - walked straight off at final whistle only shaking hands with ref? hmmmm

Morrison 6 No real impression left

Verma 5 Looked scared to recieve ball and quickly got rid of it. Out of his depth at this level (yep League 2)
