Aeropars Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I'm happy about the signing of Waghorn but I don't think hes a class above what we have already. His attitude towards this club mas already earnt him cult status but I wonder what Sousa could do with him. I dont see him taking players under his wing in the same way NP did. I think Waghorn needs that.

I think Waghorn needs that. I'd agree with that. Pearson almost had a fatherly figure about him. But I do think he's more of a prospect than Fryatt. If it is a £2m deal, I'd say that could turn into a bargain. I never thought we'd see him in a city shirt again once Pearson left.
FrankieADZ Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Currently having a medical. How does 1 know? U his doctor, we needs pictures Gah, this transfer window is tense

Ric Flair Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I was one of a select few who said that Waghorn not coming back here for this season wasn't the end of the world, as although he was fantastic at times for us last season, he also went missing in some of the big games we played. Yet, that was before Pearson left and the whole club became a joke once again. Waghorn returning is a massive positive, I just hope Sousa can get the best out of him. He has potential to develop in to a Premiership class player, he needs to improve on last season and not stay at the same level, like Hume did with us. If Hume had improved on his first season and a half for us then he'd have been in that mould too, But he didn't, and I hope Waggy is cut from a different cloth. This is superb news after a very poor few weeks for Leicester.

Shit even Ric Flair is upbeat. :scarf:
Walshy5 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I wont celebrate until this is offically confirmed
Blackcats Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I'm so sad , I'm hoping this falls through during his medical can't believe this hasn't been confirmed please look after him
Will1981 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 he need him as the rest of our team dont have the ability to take a half decent corner kick.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 If this goes through I think it could turn out to be a brilliant deal. 2million for an english player of Waghorn's age, potential and commitment? Yes Please!!
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Latest from Stringer's Twitter: "Fear not, Martyn Waghorn to Leicester City will be complete in a mater of hours. Also, a defender is being chased instead of Williams." Maybe St. Ledger?
Fox 4 Life Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 We should go back and up the Williams bid a bit, he is easily one of the best in the league
Walshy5 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 http://twitter.com/ianstringerbbc Looks 99% done As I said earlier I wont celebrate until its 100%
Walshy5 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 We should go back and up the Williams bid a bit, he is easily one of the best in the league Was in championship team of the season last year
Criggers Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I think RL accounced he's gonna be an LCFC player and DJ is as close to being a Blackpool as Waghorn a City one. If it wasn't RL it was 5Live, my Dad didnt text which station he was listening to
sdb Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Guardian says he's coming in on loan? Lazy journalism???
Aeropars Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 No point in coming on loan. Sunderland need the cash for other transfers.
