Guest Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 After the games city have played so far this season and ive seen them all including friendlies,i see great improvements all across the team. and im sure were almost there now, (may be we should shoot more instead of trying to walk it into the net) i was impessed again with lloyd on saturday, he had pace he had a go. more of that from our strickers and those gaols and results will come , (HEY AND OUR MANAGERS NOT BAD EITHER) keep the faith everyone and lets get behind our team and staff.
STUHILL Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Haha Welcome newbie! It's good to have some optimism in here I think we might just beat Cardiff too. Sweet revenge!
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Our defensive record this season + Craig Bellamy = Cardiff goals. If we're going to turn it around I seriously do not think it will be against Cardiff. Obviously hope I am wrong.
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 I consider Cardiff as the most strongest team in the league. If we do win against them tomorrow then pfft spirits will be sky high for the players.
MrSpaM Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Our defensive record this season + Craig Bellamy = Cardiff goals. Thought he was injured Infact Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra are all out at the moment!
Ozwin Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 I said it before, this is the game that stamps our mark on the Championship. We're going to ****ing maul them, season really starts after tommorows game.
Magictv Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Mauled by the foxes!! you're getting mau...

I like this guy.
Callabinho Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Thought he was injured Infact Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra are all out at the moment! Bothroyd and Chopra look doubtful, Bellamy is facing the race to get fit. I hope we do! And i also hope its a furnace of noise! we could use a 12th man!
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Thought he was injured Infact Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra are all out at the moment! Hmm, happy days then. Still going to be rather tough though.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Hope we can do it, but I really don't think so. A draw seems likely though.
Lord Fox Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 We WILL win. Believe I agree, we will win. Abe will get his first start ( in place of who I haven't the faintest ) or come on at some point and I truly believe he will be the missing link in midfield, and regardless of peoples mixed views about Fryatt he has to start. It's been said time and time again he is a confidence player, so come on Paulo (and us) show a bit of confidence in him, his 'bit -in and bob-in ' in the side is no good for anyone. Give him run of a few games alongside Waggy, so that they can build up an understanding and once he (and Waggy) gets a goal or two under his belt then the confidence and self belief will return- I know it's a bit a cliché but a striker doesn't turn bad overnight.
1964FOX Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 I like this thread, positive from the start. Well done Alli. We are going to win, hopefully it will start with a ridiculously stupid scuff of a goal to turn our luck or better still be given a penalty even though our player is off side and then everything will go against Cardiff and we will win 3-0 at least
Head Honcho Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Our defensive record this season + Craig Bellamy = Cardiff goals. If we're going to turn it around I seriously do not think it will be against Cardiff. Obviously hope I am wrong. My thought exactly. I hope we win though................I've only just gotten over the stick in work from our play-off defeat.
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Our record at home on Tuesday night matches isn't particularly spectacular. Although I'm feeling optimistic about this one. Can't stand Cardiff and I do sincerely hope that we beat them and send them on their way to financial ruin by contributing to the fact that they won't get promoted this season due to too many away losses...
carterfox90 Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 hope you lot are right it would be so us to go & beat them we def need the fosse boys to be in full voice to get the crowd going & be the twelve man :scarf:

tomtom Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Bellamy to try a cheeky chipped penalty and completely fook it up , city to win 2 - 0 , wags brace including a pen !!!!!!! Come on boys !
Ashley Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 We will win 3-1 tonight. Waghorn will score a penalty(He'll go his usal way.. The way he missed at cardiff).
Thracian Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 I'm never comfortable with this pre-match "we're going to do this and that". Lots of praise and respect for the opposition is what I like ... until we get on the pitch. To me, talking about what we'll do only gives a psychological lift to the opposition - and amounts to another little detail we've not got right. Armies posture and threaten but I much prefer the sniper's silent ruthlessness. It's going to be hard enough whatever.

I don't expect many of the Cardiff players bother to read FoxesTalk on the day they're playing Leicester, though. I reckon a bit of bravado on here regards the game doesn't do any harm, and if it helps to get people fired up for making some noise behind the team tonight then I'm all for it. I agree that I don't want to hear about players or the manager predicting a comfortable win, but I think our personnel are generally too smart to make that kind of amateur mistake.
Callabinho Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Yuki Abe to follow Whittingham everywhere, and get a biiig challenge on Bellamy to silence him, we have to get a little rough with them to unsettle them, just not Holland rough!
