Sousa's signings have been shit. moreno is a midfielder who was played out of position so really cant be judged yet imo..
Fox92 Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 To be honest, Morrison didn't have a bad game on Saturday. He made one mistake and was punished for it. Weale did the same thing at Derby, but nobody was calling for a new goalkeeper. I know Morrison has made two mistakes this season, but he is a good defender and will only improve as the season goes on. At least he has put his hands up and been honest, but I can see Vitor playing against Portsmouth and replacing Morrison. I think we have cover at centre back at the minute now that Vitor has finally returned. Can't wait for Tunchev to come back as well though. However, on the striker front, I agree. Burnley brought Iwelumo for cheap in the summer, and we maybe should have took a gamble on him. All these names that have been posted are good, but would they really come to Leicester? I can't think of any other strikers that are good enough or would come etc, other than the likes of Tudgay at Sheffield Wednesday. But we should take a look in the reserves of Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and so on.

People slated Brown (including me at times) because he lacked pace and couldnt pass a ball to save his life, but he led the defence brilliantly and his experience was invaluable. He had to go though due to his off field antics, and he possibly wouldnt have been able to fit in to this new passing style, but we need someone with his leadership at the back. We have let in a lot of soft goals this season, I dont recall so many last season.

Think we could have got him for half the fee we payed for Waghorn. Would have to wait until January now but i would snap him up then Centre back what about Curtis Davies on loan from Villa?? Also bring in Shay Given on loan till January! He cant go anywhere else in premiership until then and he isnt happy sitting on the bench, Man City already said they will offload him in January. He would struggle to score goals in League 2. I wonder if Nathan ranger would be an option up front don't know where he is in the Newcastle pecking order Now this is a quality suggestion, this guy caused us lots of trouble last season when we played at St James Park. The best suggestion in this thread by a clear country mile in my opinion.
