HonradaRaposa Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 Zonal marking cost us today, it could have happened to any of the players out there. The ball come over Morrison looked for the defender marking the zone behind him he wasn't there Kitson had a free header Morrison thought sh*t he's going to score and just tried to block the ball. Zonal Marking!! ZONAL MARKING, ZONAL fookin MARKING You clearly don't understand what it is, you've heard other ill-informed nomarks spouting on about it and jumped on the bandwagon, and made a spoon of yourself in the process. Zonal marking
Earlydoorsjones Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 get off his back you twats I am blue through and through mate, but unless Morrison is your Godson, you can't get all hormonal about the fans letting off some frustration about what has been the worst performance I have ever seen in a Leicester shirt. If he's a man, he'll hold his hand up, take a bollocking and sort it out. A kick up the arse can be a productive thing. And the chances are that he doesn't read this forum, so I wouldn't worry, but this forum is for twats like me to get it all out rather than go home, beat the wife and kick the cat. The cat is sick of it!
Webbo Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Dreadful. Is there anyone in our team you don't hate?
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Im sick of excuses, Morrison should never pull a Leicester shirt on again Whoooooooooooa Now Morisson was utter dogsh1t tonight but really thats a terribly unfair comment regarding a player who was solid last season! Morisson needs to be dropped, because if i was his understudy after seeing him be at fault for at least 3 of the goals I really would wonder how I would ever get 1st team football. Morisson is young & has already shown LCFC fans that he deserves to be at our club, 1 poor performances does not deserve a slating!!!!!!!! Lay off the kid, he will come good & even the best play poorly sometimes. Is there anyone in our team you don't hate? I almost turned him / her round regarding Fryatt the other night ha ha
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Shite, utter shite, the worst performance by a City defender EVER, bar fookin none. But you still him. Hopefully he will be put on a ship never to return to these shores again. You have obviously never seen Jacob Laursen play then.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I tell you what, we miss Wayne Brown at the back. No leadership or experience in either of the centre back roles.
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 He has to play RB, he's a liability at CB. RB he's solid enough. That's it.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 where are all these 'fantastic' signings Sousa made: Lamey, Moreno, Moosa Maybe even give Tom Kennedy a run around - anything has got to be better than this tard
dayday Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Last season Hobbs and Morrison played with confidence, this season with fear...draw your own conclusions
CKB Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 From a solid competent player to a sunday league defender in the space of three months. Somethings seriously wrong at this club. Nail on head for me...
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 You have obviously never seen Jacob Laursen play then. I will see your Jacob Laursen ... & I raise you Tony Spearing
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I will see your Jacob Laursen ... & I raise you Tony Spearing I'll quit... and I'm not even ahead.
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I'll quit... and I'm not even ahead. I had a pair of Andy Kings but I lost them in the middle of Nelson Mandella tonight, how ironic
hackneyfox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Apart from Portsmouth's 2nd, he looked like he was at fault for all the others. What was that pathetic attempt at a challenge when Brown danced past him for his goal?!? This The whole defence is a shambles, and big changes need to be made. Starting with bringing an experienced centre back in. This
hackneyfox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Whoooooooooooa Now Morisson was utter dogsh1t tonight but really thats a terribly unfair comment regarding a player who was solid last season! Lay off the kid, he will come good & even the best play poorly sometimes. I almost turned him / her round regarding Fryatt the other night ha ha It isn't just this game. Crystal Palace Qpr Okay against two 2teams that never turned up in attack. 9 goals if you're being harsh 3 tonight to be nice 1 against Palace 1 against QPR 5 to be really kind. And people think he'll be okay at right back! If you aren't up to this standard then it makes no difference where you play, and he clearly isn't. Perhaps he should swap positions with N'Guessan And that should be a more likely scenario than Morrison or N'Guessan ever playing again in there normal positions.
Wymsey Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 They just need a holiday. Thailand will do them fine
hackneyfox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 fook them, we all need a holiday after that
Wymsey Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 we need a bloody gap year after last nite to fully recover from this shite
theoxonfox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I would let him join Hull in jan and link up with his mentor.
theoxonfox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I would let him join Hull in jan and link up with his mentor. Tony Mowbray to be next manager.
Fox92 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 ZONAL MARKING, ZONAL fookin MARKING You clearly don't understand what it is, you've heard other ill-informed nomarks spouting on about it and jumped on the bandwagon, and made a spoon of yourself in the process. Zonal marking What was it then? To me, the ball went past Morrison's zone, Morrison looked round and noticed no Leicester defender was marking the zone that Kitson was in. I don't know how it works fully because I'm not a manager, and I don't play zonal marking on Football Manager. And, I have not jumped on any bandwagon. I didn't even see it drive past.
James. Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Hearing about Morrison's performances reminds me of a thread Fez started before the start of the League One season where he noted how much interaction Pearson had with Morrison during a pre-season friendly. Out of all the players Morrison probably relied on Pearson the most. I got the impression Pearson was very much a mentor to him and gave him the confidence to play a good game. Morrison isn't a bad player, he's a victim of the circumstances, and because of the relationship he had with Pearson he's paying a heavier price than most. It's sad, I feel sorry for the guy.
surrifox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I tell you what, we miss Wayne Brown at the back. No leadership or experience in either of the centre back roles. never thought I would find myself advocating wayne brown but this is absolutely correct - the defence looks effete without his presence
Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 never thought I would find myself advocating wayne brown but this is absolutely correct - the defence looks effete without his presence I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDNT WANT HIM TO GO!! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. I feel very smug at the moment.
