Webbo Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 My link Hughes "interested" in Santa CruzFulham manager Mark Hughes could be set to renew his interest in Roque Santa Cruz when the January transfer window opens. By PA Published: 4:41PM BST 29 Oct 2010 Hughes failed in an attempt to sign Santa Cruz on loan during the summer but is weighing up a second approach for the unsettled Manchester City striker. Hughes worked with Santa Cruz at Eastlands and Blackburn and the Paraguay international has been told he can leave City. Sounds like bollox to me.
Nick Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 If this is true, it's an insane deal. It's not true though is it.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 If this is true, it's an insane deal. It's not true though is it. There's more chance of me and Ultra holding hands in the Swan tommorow, with Carl sitting on his laps!!

Thracian Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Ok its possible crap rumour that I was told last week, I think it's unlikely so I did not post but another member has written similar this morning so... here goes Apparently we have agreed to pay RSC wages in full until the end of the season. Man City will let him leave on loan, but not to another Premership team. This is supposedly where Leicester come in. Now the source that gave me the info, I have no reason to believe or doubt as it's the first info they have ever had on LCFC or Man City. I think this is unlikely, but since when has that ever stooped a topic on here I think your source might have misheard and it's actually "Rocky Santa Claus" who's coming here, first for the player's Christmas Party and then to manage the side during January and February when Sven is moved on after his stipulated eight week stint. Apparently people have been betting on how many managers we can have in a season, which one makes the most new signings, which one spends the most money, which one moves the most players out, which one is first to get two wins on the trot (betting applies to this season only!), and which guy will be sat in the managerial hot seat when the music stops! The strong rumour is that, beneath his disguise, "Rocky Santa Claus" may actually be Leicester's esteemed Lord Mayor who's expected to explain that use of his mobile phone at council functions was entirely by way of service to the City in that he was trying to prepare the ground for new signings in the transfer window.
Cat Burger Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 http://www.talkingballs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=32047 Eriksson was overheard talking about 'Dos Santos'? Fazackerley: "Bet you 20p you don't know Ronaldo's full name Sven." Eriksson: "Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro Derek...where's my 20p." You see, there's a simple explanation to everything.
