MrLuke Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Like Bellamy, Santa Cruz would be coming to his boyhood club. I can see this happening. I believe he grew up in the 'Little Leicester' district of Asunción.

CheshireFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 yeah, Bellamy's been brilliant for them so far hasnt he. genius signing. wonder how much theyre paying him to sit on their physio bench? like i said it was style and not ability when talking about one striker compared to another. i sometimes why i bother coming on here to join in a conversation about footballing style when it always descends into people being called retarded for having an opinion which someone else has totally interpreted incorrectly. anyway, like you said its pretty much pointless anyway, he wont be coming here, and i for one wouldnt want him to come here either- we could get a couple of decent championship players for the wage we would have to pay him and i think that should be the way we go.

Not that much actually. Man City paying almost all of it. Cardiff paying no more than an average Championship wage, which for a striker who would walk in to most Prem sides, is dam good business. He is a cock though!! Anyway, stupid thread and up there with MON coming back. Absolute cack
Finnegan Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I am not misinterpreting your "opinion." I'm pointing out that suggesting a world class individual wouldn't improve the club is an utterly moronic thing to say. Particularly given the above mentioned chances-to-goals ratio the club is suffering from, the fact our Midfield clearly isn't failing to serve our front-men and the fact our frontmen are chronically misfiring. Not to mention the ridiculous assertion that Santa Cruz and Matty Fryatt are "similar players" because neither of them are quite Usain Bolt. Santa Cruz is a complete beast who can both head the ball and has the strength to shield it in compliment of his exception football, off-the-ball movement and technique. Matty Fryatt is, comparatively, shit.

teblin Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Isn't he quite good in the air? Which would make the fryatt comparison more irrelevant.
StanSP Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I rest my case *SIGH* He's right though so don't know what you and CheshireFox are getting your knickers in a twist for.
MrLuke Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I don't think a move to the Walkers for Santa Cruz is so ridiculous, he'd simply be coming here to get regular football, improve his fitness and get himself in the shop window for January/Summer. For him personally it would be a gamble though, if he comes here and tears up the league then he will have no shortage of admirers when the transfer window is open. If however, he comes here and does nothing then he might find himself struggling to find a decent club.
CheshireFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I rest my case *SIGH* yeah, i give up Wymeswold, but i still stand by my "opinion" on RSC. i swear that if you go through every thread on this forum, at some point someone will manage to post something about Fryatt being shit, even if it is only "comparatively"
Samilktray Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I'd spuff all over my own face if this happened, which I doubt very much. But saying he wouldnt be an improvement on Fryatt or anything we already have is this the stupidest thing I've ever read on this forum, or 1 of. Reh-tards.
HonradaRaposa Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Fryatt is fooking shit. Ade Akinbiyi scored more goals at this level than him and also in the Premier League. The fact he hasn't even got close to matching those stats means he is awful and even debating the merits of RSC and MF are frankly

Babylon Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 So we are getting O'Neil back and signing Santa???..... Dowie and some shit conference striker are nailed on then. Unless of course I win the £82m Euro millions jackpot on Friday... in which case I'm joining the board and spuffing £60m on O'Neil and players.
STUHILL Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 So we are getting O'Neil back and signing Santa???..... Dowie and some shit conference striker are nailed on then. haha SPOT ON!!! That is the painful reality for being a Leicester fan
MPH Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I love how people demand to have their own opinions respected but as soon as someone else shares theirs ( coincidently, somthing they disagree with) they throw their toys out of the pram. Even if someone finds it retarded to mention RSC and MF in the same sentance, that's their opinion. Grow some balls. Deal with it.

You are more than ok to swap balls for anything else gender related... I'm sure you get the point I was meaning... Don't take anything personally.

Finnegan Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 To be fair, we do have a quality squad. I mean we have a fast winger in Lloyd Dyer - that's basically Christiano Ronaldo right there.
