Kilworthfox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Ok its possible crap rumour that I was told last week, I think it's unlikely so I did not post but another member has written similar this morning so... here goes Apparently we have agreed to pay RSC wages in full until the end of the season. Man City will let him leave on loan, but not to another Premership team. This is supposedly where Leicester come in. Now the source that gave me the info, I have no reason to believe or doubt as it's the first info they have ever had on LCFC or Man City. I think this is unlikely, but since when has that ever stooped a topic on here
davieG Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Any new topic that's not a Sousa out, is shit, Fook off or a MONs coming back topic is ok by me
CheshireFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 hahaha. no chance. firstly, why would he come here? and secondly, he's majorly injury prone and not necessarily a goal scoring certainty by any stretch of the imagination. thirdly, his wages would be sky high, and if we are throwing money away like this then there's no hope for us at all.
crazylegs1984 Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 it would be nice but in all honesty i cant see it happening
Mack Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Before this gets deleted / moved by the forum Gestapo lets just linger in this lovely place for a little while. Mind you, he is an injury waiting to happen.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Your right, it is bullshit If it's true, let's welcome a £90k+ a week player who probably won't give a toss about us. Joy.

Reaction 3: Is he to be MON's first signing........... Reaction 4: Wouldn't this be great, however Kilworth, you don't believe this even yourself but God its nice to dream - apparently we are a very rich club you know........... *searches for evidence*
Finnegan Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 If he's not from Asia I aint interested. Loki Santa Cloos?
Dr The Singh Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 I think the Santa with a big sack and gives pressies at xmas is more likely to sign and play for us then the one at Man City!!
Wymsey Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 S.Cruz is very good on the ball normally but he has the pace of Fryatt's which means he is no different really to him. Pace is essential for this tough league so he wouldn't change our luck upfront.

Santa Cruz always looks like he's trying to run through treacle to me.
StanSP Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Roque Santa Cruz being compared with Matty Fryatt
Onions Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Roque Santa Cruz being compared with Matty Fryatt Matty Fryatt being compared with Roque Santa Cruz imo
CheshireFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Roque Santa Cruz being compared with Matty Fryatt what's your point? do you think that Santa Cruz is fast paced? you may have got confused with the concept of 'comparing people with' and 'comparing people to'- completely different things.
Finnegan Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 what's your point? do you think that Santa Cruz is fast paced? you may have got confused with the concept of 'comparing people with' and 'comparing people to'- completely different things. The poster suggested Santa Cruz is no better than Fryatt and wouldn't improve our squad. You don't think that's worthy of mocking? It's like me saying that Rio Ferdinand is tall, like Jack Hobbs, so Rio wouldn't be an improvement.
Wymsey Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Roque Santa Cruz being compared with Matty Fryatt Style of play i was trying to say, not ability

It's like me saying that Rio Ferdinand is tall, like Jack Hobbs, so Rio wouldn't be an improvement. i dont think he would improve our squad, he requires the ball to be played up to him in the same way as Fryatt does, which isnt happening for Fryatt- so why would putting Santa Cruz in there be any different? the fundamental problem is the way we are playing the ball through to the strikers, not necessarily the strikers themselves isnt it? mind you, i guess with all the shots we've had maybe i'm completely deluded still stand by the fact that he wouldnt improve our squad though- he wouldnt have chance as theres not a lot of improvements can be made by someone lying on the physio's bench
CheshireFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Style of play i was trying to say, not ability exactly. people on here are so quick to jump on anything you say and take the piss, but i think you'll find that a lot of people would actually agree that their style of playing is very similar. not that i havent got a sense of humour verging on the sarcastic usually, but the kid's got a point in this case and i'm not afraid to get tarred with the same brush
Finnegan Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 i dont think he would improve our squad With the greatest respect, I stopped reading there. I do understand (as I've elsewhere on here recently) that a striker needs service but I also remember it was barely a week ago we were talking about 61 shots and 3 goals. Besides, you're not talking about a marginal difference. You're talking about a player who is barely proven in the Championship against someone who's debatably world class. It's moot, anyway, he isn't coming.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Fryatt being compared to Santa Cruz is probably the most retarded thing I've ever read on here. EVER. This signing would probably make the Bellamy signing look shit, even if they did have very different seasons last year. As Finners says, it's a moot point anyway because it's bollocks.
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Like Bellamy, Santa Cruz would be coming to his boyhood club. I can see this happening.
