body102 Posted 14 October 2010 Author Posted 14 October 2010 Thank god, Now can we finally get some decent beer inside the walkers? Not the crap they serve at the moment as long as they dont water it down , like the crap they have now . Can see it coming in bottles tho , so no chance of it being watered down

toblerone Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Doubt they would let you have bottles at a football ground .....unless there plastic off course

surrifox Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Sponsored by a brewery- we really are a proper club again
Simo86 Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Doubt they would let you have bottles at a football ground .....unless there plastic off course I think its quite obvious that they'd have to be plasic
Guest BlueBrett Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 They DO NOT water the beer down at the Walkers. It is illegal and just wouldnt be worth them running the risk of being caught for the sake of a few pence worth of beer on every pint. The beer is just stale and they leave it standing before serving. The plastic glasses dont help either. However, I would still prefer a pint in a plastic glass than a 330ml plastic bottle for probably the exact same price. I hope they switch from Carlsberg but I really hope they keep it on draught.
Monk Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Really pleased about this - it's another big name to be involved with the club and as said above I do hope we start to sell it on the concourse, it's a decent beer. It's not entirely clear what the deal involves though. perhaps a second shirt sponsor, or maybe just their logo plastered around the ground. Some spring rolls and a pad thai would go down pretty well too.... (this is my first post in absolutely AGES)
Ashley Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Finally some decent beer in the Walkers. Like said before Leicester do not water down the beer they never clean the pipes this is why it tastes shit.
m00nie Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Singha Beer had their logo positioned on to a commemorative shirt for the friendly against Thailand at the Supachalasai Stadium last week. The logo was adjacent to the Burrda logo for this match only hope this is true as the shirt looked way too much with this added as well..
Solihullfox Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 This from Thailand press today http://www.nationmultimedia.com/worldhotnews/30140020/Singha-plans-tieup-with-England's-Leicester-City-FC
renards Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Quality beer....., there is a god, football and Singha, marrage and heaven come to mind. Had many a good night drinking what i used to effectionally call a Pavarotti (Large singer.... ???!!!! )
m00nie Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 The partnership could lead to the stadium being renamed the Singha Stadium in the near future
bluebatt Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 heard from really good source in catering that first 100 at each bar on concourses get free pint
Ozwin Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Let us drink at our seats plz. Or is that not allowed anywhere now?

What about if it was a 500ml bottle? I'm sure I've seen them before. The partnership could lead to the stadium being renamed the Singha Stadium in the near future Wasn't exactly the same thing said about the "King Power Stadium"?
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 What about if it was a 500ml bottle? I'm sure I've seen them before. yes they had 500ml carlsberg bottle at coventry this season
bluebeau Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 What about if it was a 500ml bottle? I'm sure I've seen them before. Wasn't exactly the same thing said about the "King Power Stadium"? Correct. It was stated in the Mercury that the new owners had hinted that the stadium would be renamed & it was speculated that it would be called The King Power Stadium. Can't believe the things that are happening at our football club, someone tell me I've not been dreaming! New owners, Sven Goran Eriksson ( bloody hell!) a world wide club sponsor Singha Beer. It all seems just too good to be true. Please God don't burst the bubble!
