why are their entry requirements so low compared to a lot of other universities?

I've looked for biochemistry at bath, warwick, leicester and leeds - all want ABB, Keele want 300 points, Nottingham trent want 260 points including a C at biology.

it's a former polytechnic, which tend to have lower standards then 'older proper' uni's?? Plus popularity, maybe those other uni's are more popular for that course?

Because it's a fvcking shit university, that's why. :rolleyes:lol

Nah in all honesty I have no idea, when I started they were asking for 280 points to do law, and after my 1st year they raised it to I think 320 points.:sweating::blink:

I don't think I even know on what campus they teach biochemistry here, let alone anybody doing it. If I had to guess, I'd probably say that their entry requirements change year on year to match demand and / or success of their students. I would also go on to say that I visited law schools asking for higher entry requirements than the law school here, yet they had a worse post-grad employment percentage and a higher rate of failure.

I thought that, but discovered Ricey went to the same school as me.

As an aside, is that St Georges in Sleaford?
