talkfoxes.com Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I hate when the FA say "He Must be english!"
Corky Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 As someone on 606 said, Holloway for England manager.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 How in blue hell has Big Ron made the list?!?! Having a racist as a manager didn't hurt for Spain.
Samilktray Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Klinsmann? The day a German manages England is the day I pledge my full time support to Angola.
Collier Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Mourinho, England should always aim for the best possible.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 MON or Harry Redknapp. We may aswell just not have a team though, we are never going to win anything.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 If Mourinho is available and interested it becomes a shortlist of one.
Super_horns Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Harry Redknapp. Said him all along. Of the English managers it would have to be him Get the passion out of the players..you'd hope but then he cannot spend millions as an International manager! Your mate Gary L talked about Shearer!
Joe. Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 I'd be massively surprised if it wasn't floppy chops 'Arry.
lildave3 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 I really like Redknapp and MON as managers so I almost don't want them to take over the national job. It seems to fuck everyone over and I don't really want to see their reputations ruined.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Harry Redknapp. Said him all along. I will not go to watch England if Redknapp gets the job. He's a nobody, bumped up to getting a big job on the back of having (or not having as the case so often is) a frankly absurd amount of money in every job he has. He must be the worst man manager in the history of football. It's never his fault, always the players' when his teams lose, and yet victories are all due to his grand plan. You can see it now. Jack Wilshere steps up to take a penalty in the Second Round of the World Cup and lashes it over. Post-match interview, Harry says "To be fair, I've always said the lad's shit. I'm just doing the best I can with what I've got and frankly it ain't good enough. Even Darren Bent would have done a better a job of putting that away". Anyway, much like Terry Venables, there's too much of a stink around Redknapp's financial affairs so he won't be getting the job.
sdb Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Mourinho ruled himself out the other week. I hate Redknapp, but think he'd get the best out of most players. Not sure how he'd cope without signing players tho.

But i'm struggling to think of any others i'd like to see in the job. Barring Big Ron of course.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Would Redknap be that interested given that you can't take backhanders from transfers at international level? Genuinely think Warnock could do a job.
Samilktray Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Never rated nor liked Redknapp so I hope it isnt him. I'd like someone like Moyes despite him being Scottish and unrealistic.
