foxoffderby Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 My 'has beens and never will be's' 11: Pressman Tony Spearing Lawrie Madden Tony James Robbie Neilsen - to me just plain poo Andy Johnson Junior Lewis Josh Low Ricky Hill Elvis Hammond Phil Gee (him plus sticks + 800k for Kitson = worse deal ever) Are you having a laugh? James was a decent player, didnt he score 'that' goal which saved us from the old division 3 Ricky Hill was a good player too just injury proned therefore we didnt see the best of him. I'm sure he even made it to the England squad in his Luton days.
lou Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Dennis Wise.... by a clear mile. No other player has done the damage he did. <_< Joe Hammill Lee Marshall Josh Low Alan maybury. Nills eric johannsson. Patrick geerbrand. Paddy kisnorbo when he played centre mid Thats a crap manager not a crap player.
RobHawk Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Cannot beleive nobody has mentioned Martin Keown! I was so chuffed when we signed him I mean it was Martin Keown! Then i saw him play in Leicester shirt and he was absolutly gash! Junior Lewis is still the 1 that stands out more than any mainly because he played so much and no matter how bad he was he was still in the team the next week. Then when we finally got him out of the team we could not get rid of him and he just sat in the reserves picking up his wages every week. PURE GASH! Akinbiyi was fookin terrible BUT he always tried hard and it wasnt his fault Taylor spent £5 million on him!
markbsac Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 norman (i cant shoot for toffee) leet ...and when he did shoot it about hit the floodlights...much like roger (sheepshagger) davies...both awfull
CosbehFox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Ade was no where near the worst id seen big trev was actually worse just cost less cash. The pair of them weren't good enough. Benjamin was a beast for us when relegated for a season. Spider Kalac, Gary Coatsworth, Graham Fenton, Andy Johnson, Jason Jarrett, Andy Welsh, Nikos Dabizas, Dion Dublin (woeful bar the odd goal), Martin Keown, Luigi Glombard, Lee Marshall, Jacob Laursen, Nathan Blake, Kevin Ellison, Ben Alnwick, Junior Lewis, Alan Rogers, Steve Howey, Craig Hignett, John Curtis, Peter Canero, Lee Morris, Scot Gemmill, Chris Makin, Stefan Moore, Joe Hammill, Josh Low, Sergio Hellings, Casino Jimmy, Jamie Clapham,
Ross-Kemp Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Lou, no, kisnorbo came out and said "I'm gonna do for leicester what makalele does for chelsea" he was wrong
mancunianfox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Depressingly, this is just from the last five years. Casino Jimmy Hossein Kaebi Harry Worley Patrick Gerrbrand Ryan McGivern Momo Sylla Andy Johnson Sergio Hellings Josh Low Geoff Horsfield Carl Cort Does that team have any redeeming features???
renards Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 100% Lee Marshall (Saw him driving a black porsche well deserved) To think we got decent wonga from West Brom I believe? Bombed out to train with the kids by Megson? never seen since, which has got to have made him their worse player also. Some fairly decent players by our standard mentioned, Tony James????
renards Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 'Fuuck off Willis' did he come good? 'Jimmy is currently a taxi driver in Liverpool, happy to recount his performances for Leicester City, particularly against Derby County in the play off fina' MOM?l.
lou Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Lou, no, kisnorbo came out and said "I'm gonna do for leicester what makalele does for chelsea" he was wrong Oh right so hes gonna come out and say "im really shit at Centre Mid?" Fact is its the managers decision to play a player out of position NOT the player and Kisnorbo should never feature in a Worst player ever thread!
body102 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Oh right so hes gonna come out and say "im really shit at Centre Mid?" Fact is its the managers decision to play a player out of position NOT the player and Kisnorbo should never feature in a Worst player ever thread! [/ Lee Phillpott was Shite
gosfox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Joe Waters......said to be the new Lenny Glover.........NOT
accessory Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Joe Waters......said to be the new Lenny Glover.........NOT The ultimate one-game wonder. He was OK at Grimsby though. I think he stayed there about ten years..
accessory Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Depressingly, this is just from the last five years. Casino Jimmy Hossein Kaebi Harry Worley Patrick Gerrbrand Ryan McGivern Momo Sylla Andy Johnson Sergio Hellings Josh Low Geoff Horsfield Carl Cort Does that team have any redeeming features??? It does. Jamie Clapham isn't in it..
cc_star Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Lee Phillpott was Shite What? He could cross a ball on to Walshies head for a goal from anywhere on the pitch My worst would have to be Lamey, I'll give Moreno the benefit of the doubt through being played out of position but he could give Lamey a run for his money in the shitstakes Going back I'd say David Olfield after he broke his leg, shame as he was awesome-ish before
skegness fox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Tony Spearing for me i'll never forget him giving the willy puller hand sign to the kop although to be fair he was getting a lot of shit! Followed closely by Junior Lewis dear oh dear what was that about!
body102 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 What? Plus one of the best crossers I have seen at City in the past , I know I will probably get slated for this but it was Mark Venus
Salieri Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 JOSH FUCKING LOW. Yup, outclassed by a plastic bag when playing for Cheltenham against us a couple of years back. Apparently he was in League Two's team of the year in the season before we signed him, quite how i'll never know.

He'd have walked into most City sides of the past decade.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Tom English. Totally shit and he was a straight swap for Jim Melrose as well. Am I right to think we had a choice at the time of taking either Tom English or Mark Hateley in exchange for Jim Melrose? All I can remember about Tom is him being sub running up and down warming up in some big navy all in one training suit.
Geordie Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Junior Lewis Grant Brown Every player from 2004-2009 with the sole exception of Andy King.
