Sylvie85 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Seriously? A class above at this level, would be a top signing which I reckon would tide us over right through any promotion or even European push. We simply wouldn't have to worry about signing a new keeper for years, I can't believe we're even wasting time trialing him. I agree wouldn't have thought we would trial him, should of just given him the jersey and slotted him in today!
nuttytimmy Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Rensing on trial? At Leicester? Come off it... Epic signing if Sven pulls it off.
CosbehFox Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Very suspect to an error though. Never really made the no.1 spot at Bayern despite Kahn's support. A goalie in his late 30s took his place. Slight arrogance too...typical German keeper. So a bit of caution from me. I know the difference in standard but I believe goalies has good to bad...regardless of level.
5waller5 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Just shows the level of ambition and the serious attitude towards success SGE has ...... seems like a top class keeper but that's not sufficient .... he has to prove himself to us because we WILL be successful. It's a refreshing change and a culture shock to the club and fans!
Philbert Fox Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 I'd like him, I heard we were after Stuart Taylor though, people are saying it'll be a step down for Rensing, but their failing to realise that he wasn't no.1 at Bayern Munich which is why he's not there anymore, and personally if I was a Goalkeeper I'd see second choice at Bayern Munich to first choice at Leicester City as a step up, we get promoted he'll be playing in the UEFA ranked strongest league in Europe, does well there he could find himself playing for Germany's senior team for the first time in his career, I think overall it'd be a good signing for both parties.
Guest Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Yeah and after he wins the Prem with us he'll be in the Champions league.
Asherz Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 i don't like the look of him , he's got that arrogant teutonic unrepentant look in his eyes he could look like maggy thatchers old wrinkley axe wound... i dont carehe is a class keeper certainly keep all our liability keeps out the team
Mee Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 i don't like the look of him , he's got that arrogant teutonic unrepentant look in his eyes Anyone else think he looks like Joe Hart ?
Adster Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Anyone else think he looks like Joe Hart ? absolutely nothing like joe hart.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Its not joe hart, Its chuck norris in disguise
darko2k7 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Just ask Stringer if this was true and this was his reply @Darko2k10 he's been at the club for about a week mate and on trial I believe.
Stadt Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Have a quick look - Doesn't look to bad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNFroksDBC0 Neither did Kermogant but he'd be a great signing by the the 'Magician'
hackneyfox Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 This would be a quality signing , think Weale would have to push him for no.1 spot . speechless
Guest ttfn Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Hands up if you've seen Michael Rensing play. Thought not.
yag101 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 He was effectively the Fabianski of Bayern. Neither him nor Butt were too great, but he was the weaker of the too. Still a class above most championship keepers, though. Especially our bunch.
YukiAbe22 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Hands up if you've seen Michael Rensing play. Thought not. ehh? alot of people who are keen on football have? Audi Cup 2009? He was the goal keeper in goal when Manchester United Played Bayern Munich in the penalty shoot out?

He was the goal keeper in goal when Manchester United Played Bayern Munich in the penalty shoot out? Right so you've seen him in a friendly. The point is that, much like when weale arrived, nobodys seen enough to make a judgement
