MC Prussian Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Following Kahn's retirement in 2008, Rensing was given a chance as Gayern's first-choice goalkeeper, but was unable to cement his spot. Following a poor start to the 2009-10 season, his experienced teammate Hans-Jörg Butt replaced him as the Bavarian club's first-choice goalkeeper. Besides, 53 games in 7 years for Germany's most successful football team isn't exactly impressive, is it? But in all fairness, he was always unfortunate to remain in The Shadows of Kahn, so I give you that.

Sporting Life He may be a big Goalkeeper but that doesn't say he better than what we already have or what we need in the future. Dosen't sound too positive for Pancrate either?
ithuriel Posted 9 November 2010 Posted 9 November 2010 When it comes right down to it a trial is to see if he likes us and we like him, nothing more. If it was January and Sven wants a keeper we will most probably just go out and buy a decent prem quality keeper, since that is where the board and management want to be and they seem to have the money to spend.
