Zingari Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Halloween is just a mild form of devil worshipping. where should we go for extreme / advanced devil worship ? is it expensive ? i'm not taliking about payment in souls and stuff , i mean hard cash
StanSP Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 why should i give someone some money for dressing up like a dead person? no thanks. Yep. It's not even dead people now. Kids are going round now as cartoon characters who have no relation to evil/dead/horror-themes.
Fosse Boy Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Lads in their teens Trick or Treating? Have a word. Had I not been at work this evening I'd have just said Trick to anyone who came to my door. What are they actually gonna do? Halloween is just a mild form of devil worshipping. Yes, but it's a gateway to more serious degrees of devil worship. All the kids I went to school with who celebrated Halloween are now massive Satanists. Anyway, what's wrong with worshipping the devil? He's already affiliated with all the best rock bands.

BrummieFOX Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 the good thing about halloween is that we can take out the mother-in-law for her birthday treat meal without drawing too much attention Hahaha!! Halloween is shit.
ashwj Posted 1 November 2010 Posted 1 November 2010 Hahaha!! Halloween is shit. I wish I had my mother in law here, I live in Canada and you need a costume. I could be an undertaker..,,
Finnegan Posted 1 November 2010 Posted 1 November 2010 Halloween is just a mild form of devil worshipping. Actually that's completely incorrect, for two principal reasons. There's a common misconception that Halloween is about celebrating evil spirits or entities but realistically no such tradition would ever, ever have taken off in this country until the twenty-first century. It does have it's roots in pre-Christian, Briton religion (being the first reason - the celebration pre-dates British knowledge of the Juedo-Christian Devil) but then so does Christmas so you want to be careful how high you get on that horse. As for the second reason, the dressing up as evil spirits on Halloween was traditionally to disguise yourself and thus ward off the same spirits from causing you harm. Not a celebration of evil but in fact a fear of it and a hope that one would be protected. Given that the single most Conservative Christian country on the planet widely and openly celebrates Halloween with far more fanaticism than we do, I think that's some fair testament to it's harmlessness.

Wymsey Posted 3 November 2010 Posted 3 November 2010 I did this for my grandkids, they think I'm special, they're right I must be nuts I'll never get that three hours back. You would get a good grade in GCSE/A-level. Good design

If you're biting on that blatant bit of fishing, you're either really bored or up for a debate!
Smudge Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 You would get a good grade in GCSE/A-level. Good design Thanks Wymeswold, I have actually ever known one other person from that village, Andrew McGowan, I suspect he never left the place.
