jonthefox Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Anyone had any trick or treaters yet? The young kids who dress up , i dont mind, but i cant stand all the chavvy teenagers you seem to get later on.
Unabomber Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Halloween is retarded, trick or treaters leave me with two options; to either part with some of my sugar filled food, or potentially egg my house. I don't like either of those options.

I live down a lane which no one comes down really, but i cant stand people my age or a few years below that go around at 9 or 10 trick or treating. Grow up.
Zingari Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 some witch turned me into a frog i got better though
Samilktray Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Went trick or treating last night before heading into town. We trick or treated 1 house and got invited into a house party they were having. I love Halloween.

Haylz Lou Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 I just took my little lad trick or treating round the parents area. They all get really involved all dress up and have pumpkins and scary houses.
wurmer Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 It's just an excuse for Tesco and Asda to sell complete shit to guilable parents who don't want there kids 'to miss out'.

Don't be so miserable! Nice to see the kids having a good time, so what if it is mainly powered by parents trying to "one-up" each other. It's creating memories.
Brainy Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 I live down a lane which no one comes down really, but i cant stand people my age or a few years below that go around at 9 or 10 trick or treating. Grow up. Mainly done for a laugh, not because they're still keen trick or treaters.

Bah humbug! or look at it this way,my wife took the kids to houses we knew,or to houses that had decorations.i live on a private road tucked in the corner with a long drive, ive had 2 kids come so far, whereas they have 2 buckets each full of chocolate.Thats MY lunchbox sorted for a couple of weeks.
Jackirius Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Mainly done for a laugh, not because they're still keen trick or treaters. I guessed that most people my age don't do it because they are 'keen trick or treaters'. I don't mind little kids doing it but 17 year olds doing it is just sad, it gives a bad image on Halloween in general when you get some 6ft guy dressed up in a shit outfit knocking on your door asking for sweets.
ozleicester Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 had 3 groups come past... 1st... nice little kids, 5-8 years old, well mannered. 2nd... Group of teens, dressed but a little rude 3rd... Nice enough 3 kids. All in all... seems some harmless fun. (until they eat my sweeties muhahahahahaha
Webbo Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 I knew someone once who bought some of those lindor chocolates unwrapped them and then wrapped some radishes in the wrappers to give out to trick or treaters. I could just imagine the kids faces when they got home and unwrapped them.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Yeah kids my age make me laugh, go out throw a few eggs dressed in a bin bag, with a bit of fake blood (or ketchup) smeared on their face. Cause abit of havok, and are tucked up in bed before half 10 because its a college night. I don't see the point in it at my age. We had 1 group tonight, and 1 yesterday
MPH Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 why should i give someone some money for dressing up like a dead person? no thanks.
Zingari Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 the good thing about halloween is that we can take out the mother-in-law for her birthday treat meal without drawing too much attention
Asha Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Halloween is just a mild form of devil worshipping.
