Paulo Sousa

Ever since ex Portuguese International Paulo Sousa left the Club I have often wandered whether he was bribed by an outside source - offering him money to ensure games were purposely lost. Here are five factors that support my suspicions:

1. He used attacking tactics with a team whom the majority were used to playing a more cautious style of play over the previous two years under Nigel Pearson.

2. In his previous two jobs at Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City, he used defensive tactics and then joined a team who had played similar tactics for two years, and completely changed the style of play - which is extremely rare for a manager to do.

3. He did not bring in many players to suit his attack minded approach.

4. On the touchline and in interviews, he never showed much passion, enthusiasm and frustration when things were going wrong.

5. Comparing his post match interviews, he often replied in a similar manor and said similar things after each game.

Now as much as I am a great admirer of Sousa and feel he wasn't given enough time to work his magic, it does raise the question.

He was criticised for playing negative football so perhaps a fresh start would allow him to play total football

Sadly for the fans (not for him, he probably got 2-3 years money) he didn't have a fooking clue & was a total tool, I think Sven's record is nearly 2pts per game, if he'd have started the season we'd be challenging for top 2, rather than being in the bottom two when he got sacked.

Good riddance

Perhaps you should present your evidence to Lisa. She might consider writing a book...Philbert Fox Smells Pie In The Sky!
