Guest Bilo Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Dad sells coke, mums a petty thief. Classy family Oh, and his brother's a cunt as well. They'll get theirs. Real tragedy at any age but 24 is no age whatsoever to take your own life. Poor bloke, hope Paul Terry and his former slag are proud.
Simmo86 Posted 15 December 2010 Author Posted 15 December 2010 Rumours locally are that he was found in the garage by a team mate picking him up for the Eastwood game. Gets worse and worse!
Webbo Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 People cheat on their partners every day it doesn't usually lead to suicide. The Terrys may be a bunch of cvnts but you can't blame them (nor the girlfriend)for this man's death. He obviously had other underlying problems.

He's been betrayed by his team-mate. I imagine he was pretty cut up about it and different people deal with their emotions in their own way. Clearly, it was too much for Dale to handle. You'd trust your girlfriend and your team-mate of all people; it's not like it was a random person. Paul Terry is partly to blame I reckon and I'd love to hear what he's got to say right now.
Webbo Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Obviously? How is it obvious? Because people don't tend to commit suicide just because they've split up with their girlfriend.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Because people don't tend to commit suicide just because they've split up with their girlfriend. Do you not think it could have been a major factor though? And it's not just the splitting up, it's the betrayal by a team-mate who he may have trusted.

And it's not just the splitting up, it's the betrayal by a team-mate who he may have trusted. It might have been the trigger but he must have been suffering from or be prone to depression or some other mental illness to start with.
Webbo Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Ever been cheated on Webbo? I'm still here aren't I?
Simmo86 Posted 15 December 2010 Author Posted 15 December 2010 Wasn't just his just any girlfriend though. She was his childhood sweetheart and was engaged to be married to her. People deal with things in different ways, the minds a powerful thing and this has obivously got inside his head so much he thought this was the only way out. Being a male also he probably kept this all to himself and didnt seek help, just ate away at him. Tragic
dave_the_fox Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 I'm still here aren't I? Good answer. I agree with your points. I edited my post thought it was a bit personal.
J.Lisemore Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Because people don't tend to commit suicide just because they've split up with their girlfriend. Believe it or not some people have thought about it...
StanSP Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 I'm still here aren't I? True, but as I and others have said, people react in different ways.
Daggers Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 True, but as I and others have said, people react in different ways. Yes, and as Webbo said, there has to be a certain mindset present which compels a person towards suicide. In my book that doesn't mean I don't hope Terry burns with the guilt - but topping yourself isn't a normal response to being binned; writing crap poetry, getting drunk and shaving your head is.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Rumours locally are that he was found in the garage by a team mate picking him up for the Eastwood game. Gets worse and worse! Must be absolutely harrowing. My second cousin found one of his mates like that a few years back. Can't begin to imagine how traumatic that is. It was only this summer I was at the funeral of a lad I know who was found in his flat, he was just 21. I'm sure I read somewhere that suicide is the biggest killer of young men after car accidents, really is shocking.

July 23rd I find out he's hung himself . It's extremely shocking and I think I just sat still for about 15 minutes just thinking about the memories and the news I just had.
Messi Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 The Terry family are full of lying, cheating ****s. Rest in Peace Dale.
Finnegan Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 Believe it or not some people have thought about it... Of course but there's a huge difference between thinking about it and doing it.
FoxyPV Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 You have to be a bit of a willy puller to kill yourself because your fiancee cheated on you - I understand the pain and possible depression but as Daggers said you go out get pissed, feel sorry for yourself, shag a couple of munters and then coup up with your fiancee's best mate/ sister/ mum/ brother/ dad through pity sex.
Finnegan Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 Yeah, you have to be a right willy puller to be mentally ill.
Babylon Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 You have to be a bit of a willy puller to kill yourself You have to be a bit of a willy puller to say that.
FoxyPV Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 Yeah, you have to be a right willy puller to be mentally ill. Got a link to prove he was? No. Thought not. Any suicide is a tragedy but because he's a footballer it becomes massive news and all because his missus had an affair. **** off. No one cares when it's your normal Joe Bloggs.
James. Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 With all due respect FoxyPV how the fvck do you know enough about what was going on in his head to call him a willy puller for killing himself. What a thoughtless thing to say. Strange.
