sg6 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Surely got to bring him in now, whether to play instead of gallagher or dyer at least when he will get chances (like dyer today) as a striker he should score them, need to be more clinical, maybe he is the answer?
ballsooo Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Surely got to bring him in now, whether to play instead of gallagher or dyer at least when he will get chances (like dyer today) as a striker he should score them, need to be more clinical, maybe he is the answer? yep, agree. i think parker has got to come in now and i'm all for it. if it means waghorn goes out on loan, then so be it. i quite like the sound of a strikeforce of yakubu, vassell and parker. sign him up!
ibbosuk Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I have been saying all season that we wont get promoted with Gallagher and Howard in the side, I think I am adding Dyer to that list as his misses can't go on. We have no chance of making the top 6 if we are going to squander chances like we did today and have all season, we MUST get players in who can finish a higher proportion of there chances. Today simply not good enough. (VERY PISSED)
Lester LXXIV Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 On current form I found myself wishing we had Gradel back instead of Dyer today! Oh well..
RizLCFC Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Sven has been quoted as saying "Parker will make my bench look better", well if he means dropping Howard I will sign Parker up any day!
ballsooo Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 just a slight update: - SSN hoping it goes through to be honest.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 just a slight update: - SSN hoping it goes through to be honest. Same him with Vassell and Yakubu wow
Criggers Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Same him with Vassell and Yakubu wow And Henry
danny. Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Henry would only be for a month if he does. Yakubu, Vassell, Waghorn, Parker sounds good - we need 4 decent strikers really to account for injuries/suspensions/resting etc.
Wymsey Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 I doubt if this move is still on. We're halfway in the table and yet as the others below us still got games in hand of us we could get more lower and this would affect the chances of getting him here as i think he would prefer to play for us whilst in a promotion battle, not playing games for nothing to play for.
Christoph Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 The sky sports article suggests that its Sven that will make the decision whether he comes or goes rather than Parker who looks to be set on wanting to come here.

We are in a promotion battle though, just not in the sense many people would like it. The thing with those games in hand is that they have to win them, not always easy when your game schedule is becoming clogged due to said games.
Babylon Posted 18 January 2011 Author Posted 18 January 2011 http://www.fctwente.nl/nieuws/panserraikos-huurt-bernard-parker/ Parker has joined Panserraikos in Greece.
Jackirius Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 He looked decent... But must mean that Sven has someone lined up.
Itsthejoeker Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Either that or sven delayed so much, he got ticked off...
Haydos Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 That happened fooking quick, was looking forward to him as well From the youtube clips of course
s11nny Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 tbh imo i don't think he would of been all that in the championship. yeh he plays international level, but its for south africa. plus cant even get in first team at Twente. which means he is shit. we all know the dutch league is the least competitive and easiest league to be in, worse than the SPL.

South Africa play against other countries, in the same way England play against other countries. 10 goals against other countries in 30 matches. That is International matches. ie goals scored against International players who play for other International teams.

Yeah there are only four teams regularly competing for the title. Not very competitive.
Shipman Out Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Lets see how he does there , I agree I was a little concerned how he couldn't get in Twente's team the Dutch league is piss poor,
