I also get the feeling that sven is signing parker to strengthen the bench, but with the money we have we need to be spending it on goalscorers such as Danny Graham. What a player another goal today takes his tally to 16 this season.

What a player another goal today takes his tally to 16 this season. At about 5'7" tall I'd imagine we're signing him to strengthen the bench with one of Dyer of Gallagher. Sven has already said of the trialists in particular that he'll only sign people who will strengthen the starting 11 so having been a trialist I'd imagine we're signing him to play him, and given our current formation and his stature it'll probably be on the wing.

South Africa international striker Parker trained with Leicester prior to Christmas and the Championship club have had an offer accepted. However, Foxes boss Eriksson is still weighing up whether to push through a move for Parker and expects to make a decision later this week. "That depends only on us, whether we decide to do the deal," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "The deal has been agreed and we are going to decide in the next couple of days if we are going to do it or not. "We have agreed a fee with FC Twente, and we will see." Full-back hope Eriksson is also anxious to agree a deal with Tottenham for Naughton after the full-back impressed during a loan spell at the Walkers Stadium. The Swede added: "We are trying to sort that out as quickly as possible so he can play against Manchester City. "We want him on the pitch on Sunday, but that is a question between Leicester and Tottenham. He wants to stay. "Buy or loan, one way or the other, whatever for me. I would like to buy him. He is good for now and for the future." Eriksson, though, will be forced to play a waiting game regarding his prospects of keeping on-loan Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies at Leicester. He said. Is this because Sven is hoping for better or because of his contractual complications....... BP has had a few trials over here and been sent home - there's something else in the narrative of this deal that nurtures uncertainty.

He may be a player that can be excellent on his day but is terrible in another game, just like Waghorn/Gallagher/Howard and we got many like that in the team?
