RizLCFC Posted 4 January 2011 Posted 4 January 2011 Sometimes you take a risk on a player like Parker and they do well ie Benni McCarthy did well he was unheard of, but then 9/10 times they don't do much and for that reason I hope Sven doesn't go through with this transfer and switches his attention elsewhere like a Danny Graham/Charlie Austin type player.

Sven has already said of the trialists in particular that he'll only sign people who will strengthen the starting 11 so having been a trialist I'd imagine we're signing him to play him, and given our current formation and his stature it'll probably be on the wing. Yes, but sven has also said that he thought parker was a good player, but wasnt sure if he was better than what he already had. Also with him not concluding the deal straight away gives me the idea that he dosent see parker as a must signing.

Everyone's running out of things to moan about. In another thread they're still moaning about not scoring from corners as the 2 against Swansea dont fit in with the FA's definition of scoring from a corner. We need something real to moan about and this could be it!!
