Brainy Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 well if you like hot weather it'll be ok, races there are never eventful
acooling08 Posted 9 September 2011 Posted 9 September 2011 Hello to you What's the Indian Circuit like? I'm guessing it was the relatively small cost of going there that pursuaded you to go? Lots of great circuits much closer.
Yojoe36 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Hopefully Button or Hamilton get poll, or at least in the top 3 for Qualifying. They both need to get podium tomorrow!!
Collymore Posted 11 September 2011 Posted 11 September 2011 I'm going to have a sneaky £5 on Rosberg for a podium place in today's grand prix at 14/1 Ladbrokes He qualified 9th but he used the hard tyre in the 3rd phase of qualifying which is why is so down and he will have to start on them (they'll be out of the way and he'll be picking drivers off like a sniper later on) They're normally all so fueled up they're slow anyway at the start. I've kept a close eye on him this season and he normally takes 3 or 4 cars at the start (last week he even took Vettel for the lead on the first lap from 5th!) If Rosberg is going to get his podium it will be today, the Mercedes love Monza and are untouchable around the first sector. I think Hamilton will win due to the merc engine.

Yojoe36 Posted 11 September 2011 Posted 11 September 2011 Booooooo At least Webber got his sh** handed to him
Collymore Posted 11 September 2011 Posted 11 September 2011 Unlucky! Red bull sound so false on the radio "Well done Sebastian, you have won the Italian Grad Prix" "Woooooooooh I'm so happy, thank you guys" They sound like they're recording the audio for the Formula One 2011 game
Alexikokopops Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 What's the Indian Circuit like? I'm guessing it was the relatively small cost of going there that pursuaded you to go? Lots of great circuits much closer. It's the first year it's on so I guess we'll see what it's like! I was going to India with some friends and it happened to be on at the same time we're out there. We got the second most expensive tickets available and it was only about £115. The most expensive were the start/finish grandstand (at about £400!) and the cheapest were about £35. All for all three days. We figured we'd spend a little bit more since we're realistically never going to have the opportunity again.
Amin Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 Vettel closes in on the WDC, needing just 1 point over the next 5 races to confirm it, meaning that Button would need to win every single remaining race with Vettel finishing out of the points every time to win the WDC. Every other driver is out of it.
Yojoe36 Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 Shame really. 5/6 races left, and it's basically already over <_< Lewis should ram Vettel off every race, just so Button can win it
FoxyPV Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 It'd be great to see that if Vettel didn't deserve it so much
Amin Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 Shame really. 5/6 races left, and it's basically already over <_< Lewis should ram Vettel off every race, just so Button can win it I'm not too bothered about the WDC being wrapped up this early because there has been plenty of exciting races this season where it was obvious that Vettel had the WDC all tied up.
Jimmy Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 Shame really. 5/6 races left, and it's basically already over <_< Lewis should ram Vettel off every race, just so Button can win it Lewis could have a blow out and genuinely accidentally take out Vettel and the FIA and Stewards would ban him for life, you're not allowed to upset the golden boy time trialer
shen Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Lewis could have a blow out and genuinely accidentally take out Vettel and the FIA and Stewards would ban him for life, you're not allowed to upset the golden boy time trialer Bitter much?
Jimmy Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 not at all, but Lewis clearly gets treated differently, imagine if the roles in the battle with Schumacher had been reversed and Vettel when someone can get close to him crumbles and can't fight his way through the field, he is a time trialer, he hasn't proven himself a racer yet
shen Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 not at all, but Lewis clearly gets treated differently, imagine if the roles in the battle with Schumacher had been reversed and Vettel when someone can get close to him crumbles and can't fight his way through the field, he is a time trialer, he hasn't proven himself a racer yet Yeah, this keeps coming up, but what exactly is meant by this? Is it about his aggression in races?
Jimmy Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Yeah, this keeps coming up, but what exactly is meant by this? Is it about his aggression in races? more about ruthlessness, nailing the overtake at the 1st chance, Senna used to do it by basically by saying either you move or we both go out, if Vettel is behind someone, even when clearly faster he seems to struggle to get by, pretty much all his wins are flag to flag where he runs off and hides. plus he's really annoying with his over the top Radio "celebrations" all the time just sounds forced

Really? And surely you mean reckless. Vettel is as ruthless as they come. Let him lead a race and you're likely not to see him again until the trophy celebrations. I don't see the point of recklessness in F1 personally. If you want reckless aggressive racing, Touring Cars is the way to go. F1 is all about speed and precision. The whole point is NOT to collide. To be brave and take a chance is one thing, to overcook and take out another racer is another.

He proved he can overtake with the move on Alonso in Italy . He fought his way through the field at Spa and Barcelona
Raj Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Oh Dear! Trying to slate Vettel is like saying Prost was crap! Not all drivers are like Lewis in which i mean reckless! Yes,he's quick but its no use if you cant attain the points to win the CChip. The difference between Lewis and schu is that Schu had the aura that others feared and DID move out the way(when he was in his prime!0 Lewis doesnt have that yet and makes far too many silly mistakes! Thats why Vetell will have 2 WCs and Lewis the one! For the record i prefer Alonso!!!
Yojoe36 Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Can I just say. I think Massa is a Spanish cu** (I know he's Brazilian)
Raj Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Can I just say. I think Massa is a Spanish cu** (I know he's Brazilian) Why? Must be something in the fact that Alonso hates Lewis,Massa hates Lewis,Maldano tried to crash into Lewis...Or is it just cos he is Black!!! !!! Now his Dad blames his management team(run by Simon fuller!!!)
Finnegan Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Think Vettel has a long way to go to be compared to Prost.
Raj Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Think Vettel has a long way to go to be compared to Prost. Just making a comparison towards driving styles. Senna was the so called madman ala Lewis is now. Prost was the Steadier one ala vettel. So shut it Finners!!!x
