Stringer said earlier today, that 2 players were coming in and no-one was leaving. What's happened today? 2 players (Uchechi and Ricardo) came in today and none (well, first-teamers anyway) left.

Shame he's hardly played since 2007 - He must have shown Sven enough in training to be worthy of a punt once it was clear Given was a non-starter If I remember rightly Ricardo is awful at crosses, hopefully he shot-stopping ability is enough, sure it is else Sven wouldn't have signed him

GianEmmo Zola Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Think we have a good enough side to push on now . ricardo will provide good comp with weale, logan was never going to push him for the number 1 shirt. defence looks solid enough now . if Bruma signs. we have good cover. van aanholt and berner at left back . naughton right back. hobbs, vitor, bamba, tunch, bruma for centre halfs. just think we could do with another midfielder, starting midfield 3 are great, back up not so. dont think moreno or oakley will never trouble abe, wellens and king for the starting spot, dont no if m johnson has signed for leeds yet? but he would be good. strike force is now looking healthly with yak vassell dyer and gallagher fighting for the front 3 spots. back up waggy and uchechi. and howard as a big man option. overall pretty happy anything is better than wat he had to put up with in the last 6 or so years! finally we look like building a side full of potential.
