We are getting noticed by everyone...the rumours may sound ridiculous, but if you told me 7 months ago we'd have Sven as manager, Yakubu and Vassell up front, i would have told you that was ridiculous. Personally seeing Henry in a Leicester shirt would be amazing, my fave ever Prem player

The Swede has asked whether the Arsenal legend would be interested in a temporary move to the Walkers Stadium. Henry, who is training at London Colney with his old club, is contracted to MLS side New York Red Bulls, but wants to maintain his fitness ahead of the new season. Jordan Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 As both a Leicester City and NYRBs fan, I'd love this move. Henry has still got plenty of quality to offer, but he was clearly not ready for non-stop first-team play when he came over here last year. He was lacking fitness and wound up injuring himself because of it. If he can contribute to the Leicester cause, great--if not, then at least he'll get himself prepared for either NYRB training camp or the start of the season. Henry finished the season with some nagging injuries so he needs to keep fit, and I'd rather him be in training at Leicester City Football Club than partying at some club in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. But I doubt very much that this move will happen even though SGE gets along very well with Hans Backe (Backe was one of Sven's assistants for several years at a few different jobs--edit to add that SGE brought Backe in to coach Notts County). Maybe Henry would only to come and train for a few weeks but I doubt he'll be allowed to come over and play.
